Wanted to try this place after we saw a YouTube review by "Gary Eats" and weren't disappointed. What a lovely place ? full of nostalgia and loved the themed background music too. Staff were friendly, and the food was tasty. Had a mooch around the gift shop outside afterwards which had some really nice items, and we came away with a "Pike" Teddy bear ?

Great fun, war time memorabilia. friendly service, nice welcome. Dog friendly . I'd advise seating downstairs if you don't want to have to dine amongst dogs at other tables as this place,as it attracts dog walker's ,which are sat upstairs. Food is great ? tradition cooking & baking at its best. Generous cake portions! Would recommend.

All I can say is, brilliant. The food (Cornbeef hash) was so tasty. The service was first. I love bringing family and friends to share the atmosphere, because it’s thrilling and wonderful.Thank you and all the staff.Dietary restrictions: You are asked if you have any dietary problems.Parking: If only people parking there were visiting PoppyLands, but I have never had a problem.

Second time we have been here, and it was just as nice as the first. Lovely food and quick service.

A real gem of a place. We stumbled across it as we were rambling the broads and dunes between Winterton-on-Sea and Horsey. Wonderful nostalgic atmosphere of the 1940s with memorabilia everywhere and staff in costume. Eccentric and joyful; I wouldn't have been surprised if the cast of Dad's Army had dropped in for tea. It will definitely put a smile on your face.

The venue is quirky and will back some fond memories. The staff were ‘OK’ one lady on arrival was a little abrupt and generally miserable. The time was 1430 and the place closes at 1530. I asked if the car could be left in order to walk to the beach 800m away, I was told ‘No’ and that the gates close at 1530. I was advised that people are not to park there as more customers may arrive (When I don’t know as it was clearly winding down for the day).I thought this was a bit tight as we had spent nearly £30 and the beach parking was an additional £3.50. The car park was half empty so there was more than enough room. When we drove back at 1600 the gates were not locked, so this was a lie.Food was average and the baguette was not fresh.I won’t be returning - Style over substance in my opinion.

Snacks and light bites very reasonably priced, didn't have a main meal, so can't comment. Cream teas look appetising, so we'll return to sample them. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Might be tempted to wear one of my 40s outfits.
