“Went for a spur of the moment meal today,the whole experience was very good,my misses who is usually very hard to please,couldn't fault anything!!!! We were served by Luke and he couldn't have been more helpful and polite,we asked to move to a window seat,and this was no problem also. We both had a starter(extra crispy chicken wing and chicken goujons) and both were very nice. We both also ordered the steak sampler,both asked for it rare,these were both very nice also. Very nice experience,and we even joined the reward club,so will definitely be back.”

“After reading some reviews I was worried but what a pleasant surprise. Yes the hotel is older and could do with some updating but the staff and comfy bed more than made up for it. The staff made sure we had a lovely time and helped us with everything we needed. Jack the chef is young but is an excellent cook. The food was absolutely delicious. The garden is relaxing and has chickens in it! We will now definitely be regular guests.”
