Absolutely horrible , smelt vile , oil was extremely dirty like motor oil , really I should have read the reviews bad choice , however it was the only chip shop claiming to have no dairy in the batter , unfortunately I believe this not to be the case as I did have a reaction not anaphylactic thank god !!But could have been bad for someone if that was the case.I literally ate 2 chips and couldn’t manage a 1/4 of a large cod I paid for , binned the lot.Shocked they are actually in business will be sure to avoid terrys fish & chips.

Probably the worst chips I've ever had, old burnt oil, chips brown and stank, only one there orderd chips then the bloke walked away left me standing there, only to be served a tray of discusting stinking chips that went in the nearest binAVOID unless you like that sort of thing

Not sure why the bad reviews, best chips I've had in decades, great curry sauce and proper cup of tea (yorkshire) wife had the same all for 9 quid. Can't complain atall and nice bloke behind the counter ?

Ignorant staff- they tuned their back on you , never explained while we were left waiting. filthy serving area. Long wait for fish that was greasy and more batter than fish. Not very big portions for the over priced cost. Avoid!

We thought we would come here for our evening meal as we were staying in yarmouth for the weekend and were very disappointed the fish looked like it had been run over and there was more batter than fish and the batter was burnt also chips were over done aswell for the price we paid ee will not be going back
Sausages where ok but quite a lot of Hard chips in our portions. Not the greatest I’ve had. Started to rain and went under the cafe area to eat them with family and a grumpy teenager who worked at the cafe said ‘you’re gonna have to move from here as we are putting bins out’ it wasn’t what she said it’s how she said it, was sulky and rude.

Would give it no stars if there was an option. Ordered sausage chips peas and gravy for my self, partner and kids and was disgusting gravy was like water and chips were not cooked properly sausages didn't taste right either. My partner took them back and told them they were horrible to get told well you enjoy getting a refund we didn't want a refund we was just offering feedback to then be told well out of over 300 people you the only one to complain. Doesn't like critism obviously looking at these reviews will definitely not be back that's for sure.

Customer service was the worst. Chips were actually quite nice but the customer service was bad. I over heard the workers talking bad about customers and laughing. Not good at all.
