This is a proper pub with a warm welcome to strangers and their dogs. Very friendly Landlady and locals didn't mind strangers. Nice choice of food which was of good quality, well cooked, nicely presented and tasty. It was a really pleasant afternoon ??

Staying at Haven, found the menu at the onsight Eatery, Coast House limited, bland, pricey and the music way too loud.A search on good nearby home cooked pub food revealed this Gem of a local pub... 2 mins away by car!Mum had the liver, bacon, onions, mash and peas and I had Hunter's chicken. Both were good portions, cooked to perfection, delicious and considering the current economic climate, the prices were very good. Best pub food I've had in a long time! Previously, I've had Hunter's chicken at other venues and a peeve of mine is not enough BBQ sauce, not the case here. I also loved the accompanying salad. Mum said hers was very tasty and needless to say, there were two clean plates at the end. It's not very often in the UK you can get decent pub food that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.The staff were also very professional and friendly, which is always appreciated when you're visiting somewhere new. Thank you for the lovely meal and for making us feel welcome. Hats off to you.

Yesterday was visiting the area we decided to have a meal in the local pub. We both had a Yorkshire pudding special so it was a Yorkshire pudding field mash potato peas, carrots and cabbage topped with chicken and onion gravy have to say £6.95 each, it was amazing. A very generous amount of chicken, very well cooked Very satisfied I’m filling dish. I would recommend this to anybody and we will definitely visit again

We fell upon this pub looking on Google for somewhere to eat that wasn't a fast food chain and when I say we are glad we found you as the whole experience of being welcomed and made comfortable to taking our order and being served our food. The food was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and helpful and even went that extra mile by standing and chatting to my baby. We would definitely return if we holiday here in the future.

Great pub. Just spent the last of two consecutive evenings whilst holidaying around the Norfolk coast... played pool, watched some premier league football, had a bite to eat and enjoyed some live music. A 'proper pub' run well, a nice selection of food on the menu and drinks behind the bar, and all reasonably priced. Thank you.

Visited on a Saturday night in the restaurant. Steak pudding was lovely. Plenty of meat and lovely pastry. Other half had lasagne which arrived still bubbling. Best value food we have had in a long time. .

How sad, first lunchtime I visited I had carbonara which was cooked very well and thoroughly enjoyable....except for the garlic bread charged at 2.75 which was 3 tiny slices off a small baguette. The next two times I have dined in the evening and afraid to say it was downhill all the way. Seems the cook cannot cope with a few diners as the quality of the food was appalling. And the affront to people dining alone and paying over the top of other diners is insulting.
