Over 6 pounds for 2 portions of chips which were dry and lots of small bits, not worth the wait.

Friendly efficient service, fresh consistently good food, all at a great price. Brill place to eat. Parking a little sparse, have to do some double yellow parking...

I’ve been a customer of Tony’s for over 20 years. The food has always been consistently excellent until my most recent visit.I ordered a large Cod, medium Cod, large chips & curry sauce. Came to £20.40which isn’t a ‘cheap’ takeaway anymore. The large wasn’t as big as I was expecting (felt like a large fillet had been cut in half) & the medium was pathetically small; the size of the medium cod was smaller than my hand! This should have never been sold as a medium.I telephoned them to inform them on how disappointing the portion size was. They apologised & offered a refund - I didn’t accept that as it would have been another 5 mile round trip. They were apologetic, offered a resolution & the customer service was excellent but its disappointing on the price paid for the portion size received.Fish & Chips is no longer a ‘cheap’ takeaway & Tony’s are charging top dollar.Unfortunately, due to this recent experience I won’t ever be back to Tony’s which is a real shame. The food was enjoyable but the portion size was not adequate for the price paid. I hear from other family members that other local fish & chip shops are more generous on portion size.Cost of living has gone up for all of us & I suspect that Tony’s Fish Shop are trying to save money but at to what cost? Loss of customers?

Really nice fish and chip shop. Food was great and lovely staff. It's quite hard to find a space for parking. We'll come back on our next holiday in September ? see you soon ?

Good food, hot food, tasted as fresh as a chippy can. The chips were a highlight of the meal.

Excellent, tasty fish and chips from Tony's again tonight. 5-stars all the way. I've taken my son to various fish and chip shops in the area, and Tony's is definitely his favourite. The staff are always very nice too. If you like to talk football, you can't go wrong in there. They could even remember Mick Mills, the 1982 England World Cup captain!

Truly horrible fish (we had haddock) was badly overdone, batter was solid and cheery rather than crunchy the fish was mushy and just, meh…the worst fish and chips I’ve ever tasted in the UK. Chips were also mushy and the whole thing tasted as if it had been stacked in a warmer for some time.

Fabulous fish and chips tonight, very good value for money.

High quality fish and chips but at a price. Tony's worried about the energy crisis and how long before sales will fall off to the point where staying open becomes impossible. Hopefully this point won't be reached because his fish and chips are serious contenders for best IN THE LAND!

Throughly enjoyed my delicious haddock and chips. Both the crispy battered fish and chips were to perfection.
