My wife and i booked the whole windmill for a weekend with family and relatives, for our wedding anniversary. Everything was excellent, from the rooms to the breakfasts and especially the service. The staff were extremely help and accommodating and I cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone enjoyed the stay. I would highly recommend Cley Windmill

Had lunch in the 'cafe', its actually a large marquee in the garden. Pretty limited menu, bagettes , cakes and sausage rolls with drinks. I had a ham and cheese bagette which was really good. Sat in the garden which was full of flowers and really well maintained, also very quiet despite being quite close to the road. Nice clean toilet. Food was good value. Recommended, much better than the Wiverton Hall Cafe up the road.

We spent a couple of nights last week, in Cley Windmill (The Boathouse), we were in Norfolk for business purposes, and thought it would be very pleasant to make couple of days of it .Firstly The Windmill it’s self is historically beautiful, and a truly lovely spot to sit outside of an evening, enjoying a glass of wine. But sadly everything else was very disappointing indeed. The room was quite sweet, but cheaply decorated, and the bathroom was very poor.A cheap bath with no plug, with a cheap divert or shower tap , with a glass panel over the side of the bath for a shower. Now , they have softened water, which is lovely, but with no shower mat, and nothing to grab onto to get out, with soft water making the bath like a skating ring, was extremely dangerous.Very few extras, were given, no shower cap , slippers, dressing gown.We felt the accommodation was like an old style forte post house standard , certainly not up to today’s standards.Breakfast was mediocre, and even our cappuccino was actually ghastly. Sadly unless things change, shall not visit again.

A lovely venue (I attended for a friend's wedding). Beautifully decorated, in a lovely location. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the food and service was fantastic. An excellent place all around

We had our wedding with 11 of us at Cley Windmill over 2 days and 1 night and it was the most perfect day. Laura, Donatas and all the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Emma Bay Trading Food deserves 5* for the excellent food and the decorations by Bev were wonderful. The Windmill in itself is amazing and a very special place. We will definitely be booking a room for our anniversary ❤️ XX

A great piece of early engineering. Extremely photogenic especially against a clear blue sky. Recommended to see . You can view this from the road without being a customer or resident. Worth looking at

Perfect location in this historic village. The room was in the windmill itself and was very well fitted and surprisingly large. Expensive but worth every penny

We initially saw the windmill on a previous visit to Norfolk and decided then that we would book a stay there. It is ideally situated for walking on the coastal path. We chose the Wheel Room at the top, which is accessed via a steep ladder. (The other rooms are all easy to get to!). It was a great experience with wonderful views. The bed was so comfy and there are nice touches such as fresh milk for making hot drinks in your room. Lovely breakfast serving locally sourced foods. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved it so much we decided to book our wedding there later this year. It’s the perfect setting for an intimate occasion and you get the whole windmill to use with the 10 bedrooms (all beautiful). Donatas, the manager, is extremely helpful and accommodating. A great visit.

We stayed 2 nights in the Barley Bin room in this unique Bed and Breakfast because it was my partners special birthday. I don't think that you could find a more romantic setting. We both like walking and the path from the car park leads directly to the Norfolk Costal path with it's wonderful views. The room was huge and had everything that you needed for a comfortable stay including a large roll top bath. The breakfast was excellent and all of the produce used in the hotel is locally sourced especially the kipper I had on the second day which came from the Cley smokehouse across the road. The Sarah and her staff were exceedingly friendly and know how to treat travellers. If you want to celebrate a special occasion then this must be the place.

We were fortunate enough to stay in The Boathouse - a beautiful room situated opposite the windmill. Our one night stay was idyllic - lovely location, enjoyed walking the local area. The room had everything we could need for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was perfect. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We will be back ?

Quirky stunning weekend break. We were in the top floor Wheel Room which was just beautiful beyond words. The bathroom a short ladder climb to the windmill workings. Stunning views from every window. We wished we booked more than 1 night to really enjoy the surroundings. We hope to visit again one day soon.

We booked a last minute overnight stay in the Old Cart Shed room for my birthday treat and it was absolutely fantastic. We arrived in Cley early expecting to leave our car in the car park and go for a walk, but the room was ready and we were able to check in a few hours earlier. We had a couple of early evening drinks in the lounge area and Sarah was on duty and she was so friendly, funny and entertaining we had such a lovely evening. We had ordered a local hamper, which Sarah delivered to our room, which was delicious and so much food and a lovely bottle of wine. The views from the windmill balcony are exquisite. The room was lovely with its own little kitchen, shower room and super comfy four poster bed. We would definitely come here again.

We had the River Room which was a bonus as we were there during the various storms so the wind didn't rattle us too much - however on the Friday night not unsurprisingly there was a power cut (overhead power line down) which left us without electricity for 5 1/2 hours. It was extremely cold. Otherwise the room was cosy and warm and a lovely bed - En suite bathroom with an Electric shower which was no brilliant but adequate. They do not currently offer evening meals but do a great breakfast.
