The Ship Inn, The St, Weybourne, Holtservice and communication are excellent responding to phone calls and questions with efficiency and good spirits.
The food really was delicious and for us the many Gluten free items and choices bought us back for another meal with them during our coastal stay.
It is also super accessible using the Coastal Hopper bus service if you're staying further away from Weybourne.
I recommend booking as it was very popular.

The Harnser has been excellently refurbished, the staff were very welcoming and helpful and our lunch was delicious with beautifully cooked pork and beef accompanied by 8 vegetables and tasty gravy.

The Pheasant Hotel
Coast Rd, HoltWe had a very enjoyable one night stay at The Pheasant Hotel, we were greeted with a friendly smile from the reception staff, our room was a good size as well as the bathroom, all the usual facilities, comfy bed for a good night's sleep.
The restaurant is bright with colourful furnishings, tables are well spaced apart, restaurant staff are polite and friendly, excellent choices from the menu for evening and breakfast, food was amazing and presented to a high standard,
Can highly recommend and will definitely return.

The Moorings

Unit 4 Hoppers Yard, Bull Street, HoltWonderful tearooms! My daughters booked me an early Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea and oh boy it’s was delicious. I have Coeliac Disease and my daughter said that you have been so helpful and reassuring that the food is prepared separately from ‘muggle’ food . I appreciate that you took the time to reassure us. All the food was delicious and we shall certainly come back for another visit. Highly recommend. Loved the quirky teapot cosy and the tea sets. Lovely friendly service too ?

All the staff are very attentive to any needs or questions you may have, and I was also treated to some recipie books to peruse during course (as a solo diner, this was a first for me and a very nice touch!)
And the food... Just amazing. Fresh local produce, and creative dishes which capture the best of the ingredients.
This is easily one of the best dining experiences I have had, and I will definitely be going back.

The Wandering Whelk
7-8 Chapel Yard, HoltWe had breakfast at The Wandering Whelk before heading home from a weekend in Holt. It had just opened for the day so we grabbed a seat outside and received our food in good time. My avocado and bacon on sourdough was very good, although my wife found her smokey beans on a toast a little cold. The hot drinks were served at just the right temperature fortunately.

High St, HoltFantastic little shop, first class produce. We bought smoked salmon (plain), gravad laks and smoked mackerel (peppered). Lots of other options, including smoked duck breast and smoked pigeon breast.

The Retreat Cabins B&B
Bridge House Bridge Road, High Kelling, HoltThe Retreat is a small destination of two wooden Lodge, fully equipped for 'bed and breakfast'.
The beds are really comfortable, the breakfasts are superb ; and the hosts, Jacqui and Matt settee really accommodating. The site looks out over quiet countryside, however, phone and Internet signals are excellent. Each lodge has its own mini garden.
They are only about 5 minutes from Holt, A Georgian town which is superb from which to explore North Norfolk.
We cannot recommend too highly, and have been for short breaks several times.

The Core
3 Appleyard, HoltFirst visit - a personal opinion.
Somehow, we have always missed this cafe while visiting Holt in the past. But today, whilst looking for a supermarket, there it was.
The sandwich my partner had was lovely - though the addition of some crisps or salad would have been a cool extra. Because it was a little spenny - personal opinion / for us anyway - but the taste was amazing
I had the tortilla which came with rocket and the most wonderful of dressing. Very tasty and well priced.
The tables were a little sticky, my napkin stuck to the table. Saw the young chap wiping down a table and no liquid seemed to be on the cloth which kind of explained it.
The staff, however, were lovely. And service was very quick

Lovely unusual gift shop and clothes shop with small cafe, tiny indoor seating area, outside covered sitting area and up some steps to views of the breathtaking reed beds and Cley houses together with seating with a stunning view!!!
Delicious hot choc, sandwiches and yummy cake.

11 Shirehall Plain, HoltVery busy but didnt have to wait long to order. Ate in, good service, tables cleaned and tidied very quickly. Lots of chat with customers.
We are here for Christmas and eat here every time we visit Holt, you never disappoint.

I understand that the restaurant is closing slowly due to lack of demand - whilst appreciated that the footfall in Holt is low but if they lowered the prices, I suspect that they will find more customers. Especially as there are no other Pizzarias closeby.

The jewel in the crown was the main course of chicken tikka adraki. Always good to see non generic dishes on a menu. Would eat from here again when in the area.
