Had a very fine Sunday Tasting Menu. We arrived at 12:15 and enjoyed a double Morston Hall Gin and Tonic. Then we chose a bottle of Merlot from the wine menu. Then at one o’clock a amuse Bouche arrived. This was followed by the Mushroom Veloute. Then the Beef with Yorkshire Pudding and Roasties. To finish we had Cherry Bakewell Tart. Every morsel of food was deliciously good and presented beautifully.Throughout the service the attention to detail and curtesy of the staff was exemplary.

Within minutes of sitting down we were being served appetisers. Each course looked like a work of art and tasted amazing. I was a little worried before seeing today’s menu as I have a few foods I really don’t like, but I needn’t have worried, all the dishes were fantastic and there was nothing I didn’t like. There were four people in our party and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. We’d love to come back next time we’re in Norfolk. Thank you Galton and team

We have had three visit's to Morston Hall this week, we started with Sunday Lunch, then afternoon tea on Tuesday lastly the 7 course taster menu. So we're to start from the moment we walk through the door the staff were so friendly and helpful, each course they told us what was in each course at a nice steady pace between each course. And each day seamed to get better and better. A big thank you to all the team at Morston Hall, till our next visit Steve & Rita

We are stopping in Blakeney for a week's break, we pre-booked Sunday lunch, afternoon tea and lastly the taster menu. So far do the first two, both days have been fantastic from walking through the door till leaving the staff have been so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about each course we had, the food has been fabulous. Can't wait to see what pleasure's are in store tomorrow evening.

We last stayed here 20 years ago! The food as usual was fantastic but it felt like it was still somewhat traditional. The breakfast was brilliant especially the black pudding.

Told to arrive at 6.45 and greeted by chef. Table was in the main building so for 45 minutes felt we were in a corridor as all the other guest arrived for their tables in the conservatory. Many seemed residents and definitely felt they got the better table option. They also got served before us despite arriving after. Food was ok but not outstanding. Waiting staff started telling us about the food before it was on the table so often, my husband gave up bothering to turn round. Abandoned at the end and had to go hunting for our coats. Generally underwhelming.

We were celebrating my brothers birthday as a party of six (two vegetarians). Four of the party had eaten here before and enjoyed it. Myself and my husband were first timers. We thoroughly enjoyed all the different experiences of each course. The people who described the food and served us were professional but friendly. The experience could have been intimidating but we all enjoyed the opportunity to indulge in a relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try something special. It has inspired us to go forth and try more delicious food with confidence in the future.

Enjoyed it immensely, good food (if you like fine dine and taster menu) host and staff marvelous, room very good and just a really good atmosphere, most dishes were excellent with one or two a try for the palate and thought provoking (I had to finish off a couple my wife's) but overall! Go on treat yourself We did.

We enjoyed a very relaxed and delicious Sunday lunch. When booking, we were told they were fully booked until August but we got a call because of a cancellation so we bravely and selflessly made our way to Morston the next day to indulge in some culinary delights! They responded positively my dietary needs and the whole meal was delicious. The service was friendly and helpful as was the greeting on arrival.

Yes it’s expensive but for a special occasion it’s well worth the money.

Food is exceptional. Service is first class, the staff are attentive but not stuffy. Room was huge and exceptionally clean. Gardens are beautifully maintained. Rooms are looking a little dated now but are clean, warm, quiet and comfortable.
