Wonderful delicatessen. Great selection of fresh food, fruit and a cracking wine cellar.

What a stunning find. A delicatessen and a half, so much beautiful produce. The bakery is outstanding as is the cheese selection. I wish I lived nearby rather than a lucky find whilst on holiday.

What a wonderful emporium, very pleased to have discovered this while staying in Cley. There's a magnificent selection of local produce, the bread and cheese in particular is delightful and the fresh fruit and veg choice is extensive. The staff are all welcoming and all in all it's a must visit. If they have them, the scotch eggs are most highly recommended.

Freshly made food, cakes and bread then so much more! A deli and more, with parking next door makes visiting easy. Cley is also beautiful place to visit, and windmill restaurant for a romantic evening out.

What delights! Had to restrain myself from buying more! Today I needed sustenance for a yomp around Cley and Blakeney in the bracing wind. So I treated myself to a plum and brie quiche and a custard tart, warm from the oven. Boy, were they delish! The bonus was finding a sheltered bench spot for lunch, looking up at Cley's beautiful church. Then saving the custard tart for later, on a sunny, sheltered bench in Blakeney, with a great coffee from Buoy Coffee House. The lovely people at Picnic Fayre are ensuring everyone stays safe too, wearing face masks and asking customers to also. Highly recommended, as ever! ??

Always worth popping in to the Picnic Fayre when passing through Cley to see what freshly made cakes, pastries and savouries are on offer. Used to love the free tasters of the chutneys and sauces, hope they can return one day.

Lovely deli, they also sell their own jams, chutneys and preserves which make excellent presents! Fantastic cakes and a great selection of savoury deli items like pies, pasties and scotch eggs.

Fab shop they have everything you need. I just wish they had a shop where I live in Cambridgeshire. Will be back to visit next time we are in the area. xx

This place sells the most amazing cakes and lots of fresh locally sourced produce along with lots of other delights such as breads and wines and you can get a nice cup of take away coffee, I personally recommend the sticky pear and ginger cake.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. The cakes… the pies… the pastries.. all fabulous. Also wonderful fruit and veg, home made and local produce. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Just superb.

We come to Norfolk quite regularly and a visit to Picnic Fayre is obligatory. Wonderful selection of locally made cakes, pastries and pies, along with a fantastic array of cheeses, fruit and vegetables. Additionally there is a substantial wine and spirits section, along with a great range of sauces, chutneys, jams and oils. There is more but I would be here too long listing everything! Outside of covid times there are usually plenty of things to try before buyingIt's not cheap but great for getting a few special purchases.

Brilliant food, best place around for cheeses, pies, sausage rolls and yummy cakes. Eccles cakes were best I've ever had!

Great Deli. Well worth a visit. Your going to need a trolley to get everything home though. Then you’ll have to join a gym.
