Food lacking seasoning. Service okay but lacking warmth unless you’re a regular.

Very good food, ordered a takeaway online food was ready on time. Restaurant was full. And could still pay with cash on collection.

Scruffy decor, table could have done with a good clean. Very chilly, attitude of staff poor. I agree with a previous review that for such a beautiful town this restaurant was a huge disappointment. Food okay but as I was facing ripped worn backs of seats and grease finger marks on the glass table I couldn’t help but constantly think about the state of the kitchen.

The food was very nice, hot food served on hot plates. The meat was also nice. But for such a lovely village with top quality, cafes and shops and a perfect hotel, to have a grubby and dirty Indian restaurant is very disappointing. The owner of this establishment should be ashamed. We would never eat there again, which is a shame because the food the beer and the service was good.

No ambience on arrival, no table cloth ( plates moved on glass top when eating) Standard of food very poor! Would NOT recommend and will NOT return!!!

The food was cold, tasteless & had no aroma. Naan bread was stale and they didn’t put all of my order in. The man was very rude and barked at my daughter. Terrible.

Food was expensive for what it was and bland. Service was strange, we ordered takeaway and the guy was rude and when i tried to pay with amex which failed, had an attitude as if we were unable to

Friendly welcome and seated straight away early evening. Wine options reasonably priced by the glass or bottle and great quality. Good poppadoms and chutney tray, onion, tomato and fresh coriander dish the freshest and finest I've ever tried. Moved straight to mains. We tweaked one of the dishes in two ways, noted carefully by the waiter and exactly as we wanted. Great mains, not too much chilli heat, all nicely spiced flavour. So great food, wines and service, must be one of the best meals in town.

A fun evening mainly thanks to Max the waiter. He made us laugh and gave us an enjoyable evening. Food was very tasty and well priced. Not too spicy and lots of options.

Fantastic food and service. Never eaten here before and if we lived closer it would be a firm favourite. The staff very friendly on arrival and through our visit. We needed help with a few dishes and their food choices were spot on for what we were after. The food was tasty and pipping hot. We would highly recommend.
