Lovely tea room with a good range, this was quite a treat for us today but we were over charged and service was without a smile and very dead pan customer service. Left feeling like our custom wasn't appreciated ? sadly i wouldn't return.

This place is a must if you are looking for a breakfast, lunch and/or just a nice cuppa. The food is top class, really good quality, served by great staff who couldn't have been more attentive. Also tale a walk around the village as there are great shops to drop into. A must stop if you are in the vicinity

I visited Owl Tea Rooms today and was very impressed with the service, the staff were very young, friendly and efficient and provided a first class service, I recommend the toasted teacakes, they are delicious. Well done to the staff for providing such a friendly welcome and an enthusiastic customer service.

visited whilst on holiday in the area and was really pleased there were genuine vegan options. Really tasty food, home baked/cooked. Great service and lovely outside seating area.

We recently grabbed a quick bite to eat here, taking away our food. The selection on offer of sweet and savory treats is impeccable, such a variety. The sheer amount made it difficult to choose as they all looked great. The sweet treats we got (pecan pie, cookie and salted caramel cornflake brownie) were excellent. However, the savory items (2 types of sausage rolls) were a let down, pretty standard and not much difference between the two. Definitely worth a visit, but stick with the sweet stuff and you cannot go wrong.

Reuben sandwich and Croque Madame were fantastic. Iced coffee was lovely also. Lots of dairy free alternatives for hot drinks, huge cake selection, lots of sheltered seating outside.

A wonderful tea room which had been going well before I attended school in this town many years ago!Delightful food, and good tea!

Delightful little tea room on the edge of lovely Holt with an excellent selection of light meals, pastries etc and now with a pleasant, covered patio seating area

We visited the Owl on the 2nd, four of us had the afternoon tea. The food was so good and the staff were amazing!! We had Sharon serve us, she was so attentive, particularly so with my father who has Alzheimer’s, nothing was too much, she took the time to connect with us and it just made a lovely experience even better. Thank you all for wonderful food in a lovely setting with amazing staff!! 10/10

First Lunch of the Holiday Found a leaflet in our holiday cottage and thought we’d get takeaway as it had been a long drive up the day before. Not disappointed with the quiche and salad choice. Will be returning before we leave for home.

We visited The Owl Tea Rooms, for the first time today, for lunch, with our grandson age 4. The courtyard garden is lovely, with a large canopy to keep you out of the direct sun. It feels like a super, little green oasis. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and took time to talk to our grandson and ask him questions. The menu was extensive and our food was excellent. The large selection of cakes etc looked very inviting. We will definitely return.

Visited Holt and thought we’d have a cuppa, went to sit at the outside table at front of cafe but quickly ushered into the rear patio ( wouldn’t call it a garden ) as we had our Labrador with us. Serving staff ok, scone and cake nice. Cappuccino very bitter in taste, had to ask fir sweeteners and another vile cup of tea. Did get the whole impression that Holt is stuck up and everything over priced.

The waiting staff were very polite and proffesional, and catered to my every need. Food was scrumptious too.
