This was a last minute booking but everything worked great. Reception very welcoming bedroom lovely large bed with beauliful white linen. Booking times for meals a nice thing then the staff have time to serve you in a very relaxed way. Would recommend and we will be back

Fantastic stay at The pheasant Hotel. Lovely comfortable room with small touches like shortbread biscuits & chocolates. Dyson hair dryer in the room. Very friendly staff had a good chat with the barman & Caroline on reception was very helpful. Restaurant area of the hotel is stunning, excellent 3 course dinner. Breakfast was very relaxing, all served at your table by attentive staff. Would highly recommend this Hotel & hope to return in the future.

Senior management is obviously good as they communicate well throughout their management team, which results in good service. Their staff are flexible to guests' needs. Service is excellent, which means we are going back soon. It's not a hotel designed for young children, but I do not think it was designed for them, which is fine. The hotel is close to all the seaside resorts without the crush of tourists.

We have stayed at the Pheasant on a couple of occasions and love this hotel. The staff apart from one (already discussed with staff) are excellent, happy in their work and very professional. Luckily for us the weather was great and so for the first time we have been able to sit in the garden for a drink. The garden is very peaceful and lovely.

Overall the hotel is excellent but the housekeeping could improve we had days when milk coffee etc were not replaced. Carpet not hoovered even though asked for room to be serviced. Dinner menu could be either changed more often or wider variety. But I must say nothing was too much for the staff and they were very friendly and helpful. We would happily stay again and recommend the hotel to friends

This is a lovely hotel. Rooms/beds really good and food was excellent. We would definitely come back again, but I hope they have more staff on next time as there was a clear lack of staff as service in the restaurant was very slow on our visit. Also, the breakfast menu was quite limited (no sourdough bread or avocado, and they're my favorite!)

We visit whenever we are in Norfolk to have lunch and sit in the garden. Food is good, service was a little slow, but we enjoyed our visit as usual. We can always get a table. Very dog friendly hotel.

Stayed for two nights for our 20th anniversary.Room was lovely with large comfy bed and shutters on the windows.Fancy modern bath/shower gizmo took a minute to work out?.Had dinner here on both nights. They had a Greek night on our second night which was fun.Great circular walk down to Kelling beach and back.Nice touch that they supply umbrellas to borrow just in case..We were lucky with the weather so enjoyed sitting outside in the grounds with a drink or two.All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back

We visited the Pheasant Hotel on the 30th August for afternoon tea. The hotel is in a lovely location and has different rooms for dining. We we're in an orangery type room which was very nice. We were shown to our table by a waiter which was very nicely laid out by a window. A waitress took our order for tea, which was brought out in a very nice teapot with lovely cups, saucers, and plates. The cakes and sandwiches were brought out, which looked lovely but in our opinion there were too many cakes and not enough sandwiches. The sandwiches were lovely but only four fingers each. We then moved on to the scones, one cheese, each and one fruit scone, each with jam and clotted cream. These had a very hard crust on them, which resulted in my wife breaking a tooth! We mentioned this to the waitress, who said a manager would come but never did. She then came back and said she had spoken to the kitchen, and they said they were made in the morning and then warmed to serve. Maybe this is what hardened the outer of the scone. Also, be aware of a 10% "discretionary "service charge added to the bill without being asked if you would like to pay it.This is the second time we have been to The Pheasant and had problems both times. I don't think we will return

My experience in this hotel was wonderful. We had an impeccable service from Alina and she made us feel good, also the drinks made by Andrei were extremely good. The hotel has a beautiful view and we felt very comfortable. We will definitely repeat the experience.
