Enjoying a pint and a snack on a circular walk. Decent beer choice at a reasonable price compared to Cley and Blakeney prices. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Fod was tasty.

Fantastic bar staff who really me helped narrow down the choices of gins, great banter, which made it feel like our local. Good selection of mainstream and local beers.Food is fantastic with something for everyone. We had steak, fish and chips, new york burger and salmon skewers, great portion sizes. If you are looking for food, it's best to book up as it's a lovely busy pub. Wonderful atmosphere, pods outside were great especially when it started to rain.Overall its a must visit

Great pub, great food, great beer. What more could you want!We always make a point of going to The Ship when staying in the area; either dropping in for a drink or booking a meal. We have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and accommodating). The food is very good value whether it's Sunday lunch (in this case roast pork with great crackling!) or lunch or evening meal. It's not 'standard pub grub' but a level or three above!. A good selection of drinks including real ales, beers on tap and over 100 different gins (tea, coffee and soft drinks also available!).Worth booking to guarantee a table. Dog friendly in the main bar area. Enclosed garden at the rear and some pods for outdoor covered dining.Great place.Walkability: Local walks along the coast and inland to the North Norfolk railway and Sheringham

We've been here several times before and loved it, so booked again for Friday 8th March 2024. We shared the Ciabbatta and oil along with the Seafood Chowder which came with its own bread. Very tasty and I don't normally choose the fish dishes, so that's high praise indeed! I had the Minted Lamb Suet Pudding from 'today's specials' and my wife had the Slowly Roasted Rolled Pork Belly (both meals pictured). Both dishes were exceptional, super tasty and the cooks/chefs deserve a big pat on the back. The portions were large too, hence we couldn't manage pudding! The Wherry bitter that I had is also worthy of a mention and I would've had more if only I wasn't driving. There seemed to be a dog friendly part of the pub and another part where dogs weren't allowed thereby keeping everyone happy. At the rear there is a beer garden, but we didn't investigate as we had a table booked indoors. All the staff were polite and friendly and they worked well as a team. Inside the pub it was nice and cosy and appeared to be clean and in good order. The pubs car park was full after we nabbed the last space and didn't seem overly large, but I think there is other parking nearby.I would highly recommend this pub for its beer and food, but advise you to book early to avoid disappointment. We're certainly going back for further meals :-)

We went here after walking along the beach from Blakeney. Only had time for a quick drink before catching the bus back to Blakeney. Service was friendly and the pub is nice. And the bus stop is right outside.
