Booked a table for lunch on my birthday recently. Really disappointed. It wasn’t warm inside both temperature or service. The food was nice enough but the waitress wasn’t welcoming and seemed to lack in personality. She forgot my side order, aswell as an apology & her whole demeanour was just off. Wouldn’t

Generic food you could make at home at high prices.

Went for a Tha last night and surprised to find the menu format had total changed, so had the food !It looks like the authentic Thai is a thing of the past, it is now more like home cooked food with a slight, very slight, essence of Thai.If you are going the the authentic taste as it used to be here and the feathers, I would give it a missAlso quantity down price up !

Lovely atmosphere, ended up chatting to a couple of tables of people who clearly had been before. Excellent succulent burger with bacon and brie. Triple cooked chunky fries. Turns out they do themed food nights and wine tastings. Lovely staff, even play list was commented on positively. So glad we visited.Oh, and ground floor is dog friendly. Wonderful

A wonderful find! Do yourself a favour, just go and enjoy brilliantly cooked food. Best Duck I've had in more than 30 years.

I had such high hopes for this restaurant having read the reviews but we were totally disappointed in the food and atmosphere. I’m at a loss as to where the word cosy comes into it. Maybe we just caught it on a bad day but it was more like a cafe than a restaurant and the spilt food splashes on the walls didn’t help, no Christmas vibe or cheer at all despite it being New Year’s Eve. The Sunday roast was ok, but spoilt by cumin seeds being sprinkled over the roast carrots and the gravy being very lumpy and it not being piping hot. I think some more honest pictures on their website of the interior would help customers make the right choice for where to spend a special occasion.

Delicious breakfast, yummy ingredients and the toast was so good. Service was good and food arrived quickly. Beautifully decorated and very clean.

Fantastic service and knowledge by the young gentleman waiter. He explained the foods we were unsure of and wine recommendations. There was Mediterranean lemon chicken which myself and a friend had. She had lemon on her plate with a slight sauce glaze whereas mine didn't so much, and the meat was a tad dry. Another friend had the sea bass which was slightly underdone which was quickly corrected in no time and brought back to the table and she enjoyed her meal. Another friend had the partridge and venison and really enjoyed the flavours. We looked at the dessert menu and felt a little underwhelmed as nothing really stood out so we declined.

This was my first visit to the snug, although I'd walked passed loads of times. Will definitely return, my veggie breakfast was fantastic. Service was excellent. What a lovely little place, well worth a visit.

What a lovely find My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today as part of Norfolk Restaurant Week - in this cute tucked away establishment - cool decor - 3 courses for £20 was excellent value - the portions were just right and the food was very tasty and filling - Service was excellent too

Lovely little place. Very cheap. Select of drinks not great. Waiters fab. But food is cheap and cheerful. Not great taste but meat was fabulous quality. Could be so much more!!! Dauphinois potatoes no flavour whatsoever. Venison cooked to perfection. Borek was tasteless and mega greasy.

We booked The Snug for a Thursday evening while staying in Holt. We enjoyed some lovely food and wine, the staff were great, it was a wonderful evening.

The way to this place is visible as at the entrance they have their logo. Beautiful quaint place. Food is really good. A bit expensive yes. We ordered gentlemans tea, scones are dry. Fries is good. The sandwiches in ciabatta bread is really good.Space is a bit cramp and crowded. But it's okay.
