Great vegan menu, we had avocado, tomatoes and mixed leaves on sourdough toast, plus falafels with salad on a bun. Also good selection of vegan cake's. All presented well. Doggies welcome.

We visited while staying locally (found this place after going to sister cafe Whelks Coppers in Sheringham) A late morning visit for coffee and cake, the cafe was busy but were warmly welcomed and seated. A counter full of delicious looking cakes and savouries was calling .. I chose a Nutella brownie, while my husband went for his favourite bread pudding. I requested to have my Brownie warm, which they gladly did. The rich gooey chocolate brownie was scrumptious, definitely enhanced by being warmed. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the gently spiced, soft and comforting bread pudding. They also offer plenty of brunch and lunch choices, with vegan and vegetarian options too. We will certainly visit again when in the area.

Just saw this cafe on way back to car park, was Sunday after Remembrance Service and not many places open. What a fabulous little cafe, super friendly staff and the food was delicious. Hubby had bacon roll and I had homemade sausage roll! Best sausage meat I have tasted. Very clean and comfy.

What a lively hidden little cafe! Spotted it on the way back to the car park and one of the few places open on a Sunday. Homemade sausage roll was delicious and best sausage meat i have tasted. Friendly efficient staff, lovely and bright surroundings, will definitely call back.

Have to say I was excited about having some seafood when I saw this place. Sadly none on offer. But funny worry about that.... The food is lush! I had a falafel salad bowl, it was so good. Often falafel can be made too dense and lacking in flavour. Not here, completely the opposite. And all the accompaniments that rent with it were great too. Also great service from all the staff we meet. Thx

Lovely brilliant cafe with super food! I am in the gallery next door for a week, and the people at the wandering whelk could not be more helpful or friendly ? it’s going to be very difficult to get through the rest of the week without having a bacon roll every day! And thank you for the all picnic stuff!

Great little find with good coffee and great service Stumbled across the cafe which is right next to the car park. It’s clean and modern, and staff were very welcoming. Cakes looked amazing and my coffee was good. I asked for a simple child’s sandwich (not on the menu) and they were very accommodating and returned after only a couple of minutes with a sandwich with raisins and cucumber sticks - lovely to see care given for a child’s meal. I tried a fruit scone which was nice and fresh. Would definitely recommend
