Terrible food ,terrible atmosphere, even worse the price was very exspencive, like others who have taken the time to review this chip shop I can confirm this business is in it for the cash 21.90 for very poor food really rubbish potatoes and over cooked fish in batter ,,why oh why didn't I pop into Tesco's and have better quality and prepared in a clean environment served by teanagers for a fraction of the cost ...

How people say this is one of the best chippies in Hunstanton i don't know. We had to wait 20 minutes today for cod and chips x 2 plus 2 drinks @ £25 and when it came out it was like batter and chips, the fish was hard and had shrunk because it was over cooked. Why is it called Five Frying Fish when there is only one ?? It wasn't even busy. Worst fish & chips we've ever had, we do not recommend this place at all.

Good little takeaway

Wonderful fresh fish and good chips when I visited in September. Staff refilled my water bottle on a hot day which was much appreciated. Chatted to a pair of German tourists who were also v impressed with the their first experience of fish and chips!

Staff were miserable, worst piece of rock eel I've had in my life and the cod wasn't much better. Geasy batter was thicker than the tiny pieces of

Fantastic FFF, a group of us rode out to Hunstanton for fish and chips, this place looked busy and now we understand why. the tastiest chips and the best crispy batter on the cod. We all said that this was the best fish and chips we had eaten all year. We will definitely be back

Really disappointing. This used to serve great fish and chips. On our last visit the chips were brown, greasy and hard and the fish was inside thick rock hard batter which was also running with grease.Something has gone terribly wrong with the standards. We will look for a better place to get our fish and chips on our next visit.

I wish, as I usually do but didn't in this case, check reviews. It annoys me when a seaside fish shop cannot cook a decent piece of cod. The batter was too thick and not cooked all the way through. Very greasy and lacked any taste that you would normally associate with the seaside.Cod was watery. It was chunky and fell apart but with the grease and water, we couldn't eat it and we did try.Chips were ok. Nothing spectacular but the best thing we were served with.Prices were about where you would expect but the quality certainly isn't. With all the fish and chip shops around the area, this one needs to pick up it's game.Get the batter light and bubbly. Don't slap it on too thick and remember, flavour, flavour, flavour.Staff were friendly enough and didn't have to wait long for the food.Certainty would not go back or recommend. Shame as it's in a good location on top of the hill looking out at the sea

Really disappointed. Been here the last two years and cod and chips were amazing, what has changed?? Went in July 2023 and chips were dark, smelt of old oil. Fish wasn't white and looked two different pieces had been put together and then coated in batter. We were both ill later that night. Won't be going back.

i only brought a small portion of chips. it was very busy in there and the chips are a bit greasy but honestly ive had worst. there’s nothing to really complain about apart from the menu choices being a bit small and no pies available where as most competitors will sell pukka pies. honestly not the worst. prices are reasonable just wish there was more selection

Overpriced and greasy fish. For the price one would expect it to be much better, or much bigger than it was.

Avoid. 6 of us dined in today for fish & chips, wish we hadn’t of bothered. Chips were soggy, dark brown and greasy. The fish was over cooked and the batter not made or cooked correctly. These people cannot cook.

Very overpriced for small portions of below standard food. Chips aren't nice really, edible if you're hungry, Cheap cken nuggets are a bit odd, couldn't decide if the batter was nice or the chicken but something wasn't nice that's for sure ?they charge £1.60 for water or cans, £2 for bottles, the "large" portion of chips are small, I'd hate to see what their small portion looks like.Ketchup is charged at 25p a sachet! Not worth it at all. Won't go back.

Really not the best fish and chips. Weird chips and batter was lacking. Fish was nice. Staff were a bit miserable. It was packed on a windy day though. I have had a lot better.
