Met up with family for a day at the coast to remember my mum on the 1st anniversary of her passing. Weather started to turn in so popped in for a bite to eat. Staff were friendly and quickly accommodated 12 of us without question. Food was lovely. Service prompt. Could not fault it.

Lively pub, decent food and a very lively, happy atmosphere. Very friendly service. We popped in after a long, cold walk and decided to eat while we were there. The menu is nothing pretentious - it is what it is - but what they offer, they do well. It is a lot better than you might think. Its an order and pay at the bar kind of place which would normally preclude it from offering any kind of real service level. Not the case here. The bar staff were super friendly and coped well with our changes to the menu, and the food was delivered with a friendly smile. My wife had the roast beef. It was very nice and well presented. My friend had the burger, which again was well presented and he enjoyed. I went for a pizza. It was very good indeed. I opted for the meaty/barbecue one (I don’t remember what they called it) and there was plenty of topping on a thin base.Overall - a goof experience at a very reasonable price. We will come again.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Some nice vegan options on the menu and the service and food were great. I had the vegan nachos and my wife had the chicken and bacon salad, both were very tasty. We also availed of the facility to park our campervan in the car park overnight. Everything was very good, and I’m sure we will be back again.Dietary restrictions: There were more vegan options available than printed on the menu. Check the online menu and ask the staff.

We were stopping at Searles and decided to eat at the honeystone.we have been there quite a few times over the last few years and have never been dissapointed by the standard of food and service we have recieved. however this time was different as my wife was in a wheelchair due to surgery on her ankle. However we were still greeted in the same professional manner. We were taken to an appropiate table and the service was outsatanding. we went in there 3 time during the the last week of 2023. We only ate twice in there but the food was amazing, and the staff were polite and friendly. If you want good food and a friendly atmosphere, then pay the Honeyatone a visit.

I was seated nicely bit wasn't told I had to order at the bar so was waiting for a while before I heard someone else say they had to order at the bar. Poor choice for vegetarians only huge veggie burger or spicey chilli. I ended up just having cheesy garlic bread and onion rings, Garlic bread was soggy on the bottom. Food came before my cutlery. The lady who took my order was lovely.Vegetarian options: If you have a big appetite the veggie burger would probablybe good.

We are staying in the area for Christmas and have had a Christmas Eve dinner here and are having Christmas dinner here too. One thing I would like to comment on is the lack of a cocktail menu. My sister and wanted a cocktail and asked at the till, we got a run down on what cocktails were available but I wanted to know what was in them, ended up with the woo woo because my sister has had it before. It would have been nice to look at a list with the ingredients that make up the cocktail. All in all the food was delicious and nice and hot.

Thank you for letting us park our camper for the night. We had a lovely meal in the pub and a relaxing walk on the beach. Definitely recommended for fellow campers!
