Looking for a fine dining experience for my partner's 40th, and that's exactly what we got. Exquisite food, fantastic wine, and fantastic service from Kevin and Jacki. I'd hounded Jacki several times in the weeks leading up to our trip to Norfolk after she'd shared the restaurant was fully booked on the Saturday night, and she was back in touch as soon as an opening came up - it worked out perfectly and we couldn't have wished for a better evening. Thank you Jacki and Kevin!

Food here was exemplary! Definitely one of the best restaurants we have tried in Norfolk so far!Wine recommendations were great, and Jacki was excellent at service. Our glasses were topped up at the perfect time and plates were not left or removed too quickly. I used to work in a fine dining restaurant many years ago and this is definitely a skill I have noticed seldom elsewhere. We felt thoroughly looked after. A full 5 out of five for the restaurant and amazing food! Thank you so much Kevin and JackiWe will be back! ?

We stayed for one night with dinner and breakfast the following morning. We arrived mid afternoon and Kevin checked us in and took us to our room. Our was spacious and bright, very comfortable. We both had the taster menu, Kevin asked if the selection was OK, so we presumed that if there was a course you really didn't like he could amend. Jacki was able to advise from a more than ample wine list.Atmosphere was very relaxed the food was excellent. The Neptune is small, very comforable with great hosts, north Norfolk is rich in wildlife and walkable coastline, Old HunstantonBeach is 10-15 minutes walk.Breakfast was also excellent. We have dined in several michelin * restaurants now, never been disappointed, but the chef/patron is not always on site, here he brings each dish to your table, great hosts.

Booked to stay/dine here months in advance and having had a taste of it there's no surprise demand outstrips supply by a huge margin. This is a cracking place however you look at it. Lovely warm welcome, spotless, well appointed room, lovely relaxed atmosphere and absolutely blinding food. The tasting menu we ate last Saturday night was across the board fabulous. It is evident the hosts work very hard to maintain the high standards on display, especially given that everything is done in-house and by them alone. Probably the smallest Michelin starred restaurant we've ever eaten at, but also one of the best. Brilliant.

We booked at the Neptune to celebrate two significant birthdays (mine being my 60th). Upon arrival, we were made to feel extremely welcome by Kevin as he showed us to our lovely room (no 2). The dining experience was lovely; the food divine. We had the tasting menu and every course was delicious. My wife has a dietary issue and Kevin swapped the ceviche for a delicious fish soup. This was a really nice touch. Throughout, both Jacki and Kevin were the perfect friendly hosts, explaining each dish as it came and chatting about anything and everything. We have eaten at a few Michelin starred restaurants and this was the best. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and the breakfast was excellent too. Thank you both!

I found this gem of a place when hunting for Michelin starred restaurants with rooms online for a nice meal and overnight stay as a belated birthday and Christmas gift for my partner. Kevin and Jacqui were the perfect hosts and the room was lovely. We had the tasting menu and every course was absolutely outstanding. Clearly a lot of thought had gone into the dishes and they looked beautiful, but most importantly tasted incredible. We’re no wine experts and enjoyed the relaxed approach encouraging us to drink what we enjoy, and we very much enjoyed the excellent bottle of French red we chose. The service was spot on- friendly, relaxed and attentive, never feeling overbearing. Kevin was brillant at making sure my dietary requirements were catered for and giving me alternate dishes where required. In the morning we had a fantastic breakfast too. The whole experience was truly memorable and we hope to be able to visit again soon.

Our best dining experience in Norfolk and also our best evening out since before the pandemic. Its expensive as you’d expect as it’s a Michelin starred restaurant but I actually think it provides better value than any of the “gastropubs” along this stretch of the coast. I think this might become my new favourite restaurant for special occasions.

The best kind of Michelin Star Restaurant! We went for a birthday weekend with friends and stayed the night. From arrival its bliss, the rooms were glorious, simple but with all the best finishing touches and amenities.Dinner was the best, Kevin and Jackie were so welcoming and friendly, the service was excellent they were chatty and all the details were amazing! We opted for the tasting menu, it was beautiful. They managed my allergy to shellfish and I didn’t feel in the least bit like I was missing out. What we loved about this place was of course the food but you expect it to be good, we loved the atmosphere, it was warm, welcoming, unstuffy and most of all relaxing! I’ve had week long holidays that I have left less relaxed from that one night here.Breakfast the following morning was delicious and varied so you could have just what you fancied.By far my favourite restaurant and indeed overnight stay! We will be returning.Thank you

We opted for the tasting menu and every course was delicious. The hosting and service was faultless and although busy, Jacki and Kevin spoke to everyone. Long waits for bookings but well worth it.

Just insane! If you get the opportunity to go, do! One of the best meals I’ve ever had (we opted for the tasting menu). Service was perfect - so so friendly not to mention super knowledgeable and passionate about food. Will definitely be back. Thank you for the amazing experience! ♥️

Kevin and jacki make a wonderful team that ensures the perfect dining experience. Kevin is an unassuming great chef and artist in the kitchen. Now diabetic they went out of their way to meet my requirements. Thank you for a lovely evening.

It is always a pleasure to stay at The Neptune. The hospitality of owner Jacki & Chef patron Kevin is really superb. We enjoyed glorious food & then retired to the immaculately comfortable room. It is a joy to stay here & is highly recommended.
