Absolute rubbish, no organisation.... Super long delay waiting for food, when it arrived there were 13 chips in my box along with a small battered sausage. The order was processed incorrectly, they provided cod instead of chips.... get that for sausage and chips, where does cod sound like chips ? Whilst waiting nearly 50 minutes for the order they announced to new people at the counter that they had run out of chips ? 1st and last time I'll visit here... Many other well run chippies in Hunstanton to choose from, these won't be around much longer the way they're running a business. Avoid if you want to visit Hunny and fancy some fast (not) food.

Thank you for reading before you orderThis is the worst Food I ever hadStaffs are rude and not polite. The fish given is just the same size of a Sardine in the box.My child drop the chips pick to the floor and walk through . The salesman took it and put back to the boxAbsolute RubbishDont buy.

Such a shame that this was the first fish and chip shop we came to when coming into the town from the seafront. We ordered battered sausages etc and a large chips to share. When I asked for another cardboard tray so that I could split the cups between my children I was told they'd have to charge extra for it which I declined. The food wasn't too bad and luckily was cooked to order but there seem to be plenty of much better options just a few feet away. Wouldn't eat there again.

Awful..... 01/10, 17:00 obviously getting ready to close or something. The chips I got must have been sitting for a while why they didn't put them back in the frier I don't know. They were stone cold and the scampi was poor quality mostly coating. Don't know how this fish and chip shop is open when all the others are better. We only went for this one as we hadn't tried it before. Wouldn't again

Awful service, cold food Lunchtime. Nobody waiting, we ordered 6 X F&C and 2 peas. 3 eventually were bought out, then waited ages for the next 3 (why, when they should have all been cooked from fresh at the same time) so by the time the second three were bought out, the first ones were cold, then we waited even longer for 2 peas!!! What on earth do they do when they have more than one customer. Avoid! Shame, as the cold F&C looked well cooked and good quality, just stone cold, they really didn't seem to care! There are plenty of alternatives nearby, which is where I will be going if we return to Hunstanton.

OMG - paid for my food at 1911, I was order number 150 - a half hour later, I asked where my food was and was told it will be with me soon - 15 minutes later, order number 155 was getting their food - 45 minutes I waited, nothing, it’s supposed to be a fish and chip shop, you know, you go in, you order, you get your food - I demanded a refund and the manager (who looked as though he would fail a hygiene certificate rating all by himself) paid me back in cash but still took for the drinks they had given me (which by the way, were not very cold) 45 minutes before - this establishment should be called “Not The Plaice To Bee” - avoid this place like the plague, there are plenty of other options around.

Waited about 45 minutes for the most disgusting fish and chips iv ever had, toilets were filthy and the fish looks like it was about to jump out of the batter and swim back in the sea. AVOID!!!

They sent out my cheesy chips, with cold grated cheese. They tried to put the chips in the microwave to melt the cheese. It made no difference. Staff told my friend we couldn’t have a refund because there’s “nothing wrong with it”. Most depressing cheesy chips I’ve ever had, 0/10. A must-see for food poisoning enthusiasts.

Had a random trip out today. Popped into The Plaice for the first time. On entry, the smell of burn oil was very noticeable. But my hubby said" lets try it" NEVER AGAIN! The chips were cool.not cold but definitely not even warm. I had a veggie burger.. it was so dry in a dry brioche bun, it made my jaw ache. No lettuce tomato or even mayo were offered. So basically a plain dry bun. Very pricey for tat food. Sorry guys.?if you want a thumbs ? then sort the menu out.
