Probably the best prawn sandwich in Norfolk, which can be enjoyed whilst sat in a easant garden in a peaceful environment just a few minutes away from Holme beach.

The White Horse has various dining areas. Indoor and outdoor, in lovely well maintained gardens.I ordered Baked Gammon, Eggs and Chips. Sadly .. plate and the Gammon - ice cold. Chips golden and crispy, as requested. Eggs perfectly fried, unfortunately placed on a cold plate.Waitron staff super serious, no smiles going around, gent behind the bar knew his stuff, very professional.

Great pub grub, decent beer & excellent value for money. The staff work their socks off to accommodate the constant stream of customers looking for food & drink...even in extreme heat. Brilliant pub!

Obviously this isn’t London Good Food Guide excellence but I suspect some of the customers frequent quality restaurants and recognise quality when they experience it. Pleasant, youthful staff, simple (uncomplicated) food. Good views over the marshes. We had Lemon Sole and Bream. Unfortunately, we discovered it at the end of the holiday so it will be a while before we can return. We look forward to returning.

Only came for drinks, but very pleasant inside and dog friendly. They have a nice garden area and the menu looked full of choices, including a specials board. The staff were friendly and welcomed us to a table when we got in. Parking was a bit difficult as it was so busy, but we got a space.

Had a meal at tail end of lunch service. We had booked for 1.30.Sea bass served with skin up and dried out, vegetables cold.Steak pie pastry inedible and lacking in meat.King prawn curry was OK but tails left on prawns which is incorrect. Please think about cutting your menu down and serving decent local food.

Stunning food! I had a prawn cocktail for starters and a 8oz rump steak for main, my wife had the beef roast dinner. The whole meal really was top quality, its a pub to visit for sure. We will be back, many thank Graham visiting from Scarborough.

Really nice food and it comes quickly! Let down a bit by the service. One in 4 staff were lovey - one not so much! Plus it took ages to order. Over twenty minutes. Only one guy taking orders for the whole place it seemed. We were told to sit and wait to order, which we did, only to see order after order being taken at the bar but couldn’t get our order in - even when I went up and asked - please can we order now? He just said I need to do a table in the other room first… and vanished. It was so strange.

Traditional Sunday Lunch with all the trimmings. Very pleased to have our favourite lamb as an option. Also lots of veg to share. Was always a favourite on previous visits and will remain one after this.

This pub was fab. Much better than alot of the reviews I had read. There was so much on the menu and specials board .... I could have come back every day of the week and happily eaten something different. The four of us loved our food. Great quality, full of flavour and hearty portions. The pub garden was a fab spot especially on such a sunny day. It was also dog freindly,

Remembered this hidden gem from a few years ago and took the chance on Good Friday without a booking after a brilliant afternoon on Brancaster beach. Fantastic service and food. Play area to keep children entertained and kids menu. We'll be back.
