So nice that you are staying open when most are shutting for January. Lovely to come to for breakfast each morning or lunch. The steak and kidney pud is great. Nice to sit by the fire with a cup of and toast or a sausage sandwich. So thanks for staying open for us locals and visitors.

Really enjoyed our lunch here today. Was a little worried at the size of the menu (often the food suffers as a result), but was pleasantly surprised to find it was delicious. Having a peek at other dishes as they went by showed that they too looked fab! Lots of variety and a whole vegan menu which is impressive (im not vegan but was pleased to note it for my friends in the future!). I had mussels and was impressed at the portion size, both of the mussels (which were delicious) and the side of fries ordered too. My husband had a full English and seemed to very much enjoy his too. Will be back again.Parking: There is a small free car park outside the deli which seems to usually be full, but there's also a large car park right next to it which is paid for but plenty of space and about 2.50 for 2 hours I believe. Took card too!

Popped in for a late lunch. Unfortunately they closed at 4pm so was too late for the kitchen, however, I chose a ham and cheese croissant from the deli which they warmed up, OMG it was delicious! Still thinking about it days later. Shared a half a pecan pie with my friend and a pot of tea. Loved it! Lovely fireplace there too. There was a young man serving, I think his name was Sam, what a lovely guy, so very helpful. Looking forward to going back. Thanks everyone ??.

Ok..So we go for a takeaway breakfast this morning. You have to order via the website, which is a pain to navigate. Then as we go to check out, the prices are central London prices and more, then we see we have to wait 40 minutes to an hour to receive our order. No thanks! TBH been here before, it’s not that great, however if your business is getting really busy, maybe workout a plan to keep customers coming to you! Because at the moment you’re failing, yes you’re busy, but you could do much better. Went to Hunstanton instead, got an equally as good breakfast and coffee’s for half the price and within 5 minutes.

Sorry TD. Having been here quite a few times and reviewed highly in the past, I feel TD is now packing in the people, lacking staff, not looking after the restaurants/ toilets and getting lots of business on the back of its name in the past. It’s a shame. When we arrived, 2 January, pouring with rain, it was heaving. We were told 10 minute wait and that was not a problem. The lady came to me about 10 minutes later, very friendly, and said our table was ready. We ordered two drinks, poached eggs on sourdough with tomatoes and chilli, along with poached eggs on toast. In both cases, especially the latter, poached eggs are the headline act. When they arrived, all four eggs were warm at best, and hard. Not a runny yolk in sight. My wife’s toast was dry, no butter. Yes it says poached eggs on toast, but this was the no frills version, see picture. Had to ask to get some butter so my wife had some moisture in her breakfast. My food was lovely except the eggs being hard. The general area to eat in is tired in parts and quite dirty, yes possibly the weather, but I feel it could do with a good clean daily. The toilets were in poor condition, no toilet paper and dirty too. Waited in a queue of 8 to pay, no one available to take our money. Maybe overwhelmed with work but gave an underwhelming meal. Sorry TD. Better places to have meals now. Go back to the basics you had, smaller menu, more staff, sometimes less is more.

We visited for lunch on New Years Eve and had an expected 15 minute wait for a table as you can’t book. There is a dedicated area for people with dogs. Just be warned if can be quite cold so later up. There is a very extensive menu and a dedicated page of food for vegans which also has a great choice, which is a big attraction for us, and quite unique for this area. The only snag was that we ordered the nourish bowl from the Vegan menu and it came with goats cheese. We weren’t aware it was also available on the main menu, and the waitress who took our order didn’t clarify. Once informed, the waiter was very apologetic and the vegan version arrived very quickly. Excellent service, pleasant staff, nice ambiance. Just be clear when ordering if you have dietary requirements.

We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. A very popular spot with lots of choice on the menu and a great selection in the shop. The deli has some lovely baked products. The lunch menu is extensive but the food was underwhelming and didn't reflect the quality we had expected. The prices are also high. Love the doggy menu though and our pooch certainly loved his chicken lunch.

We have just been here for coffee and lunch. Coffee was delicious. We both ordered the root vegetable soup and half a sandwich. The half sandwich was very nice. The soup was so hot and spicy we couldn’t eat it. It said nothing about spicy on the menu so I complained. Oh I will tell the kitchen was the response! No mention of a partial refund and considering the dish wax £10.95 that’s a lot for half a sandwich. Very disappointed.

Friendly staff, greeted with cheer and a smile on arrival and seated straight away! The young man who looked after us was lovely and had a pleasant word for everyone he spoke to! Room was made for the wheelchair around a table without any problems, even popped us next to the radiator to warm us up on a cold day! The coffee was lovely, I had an almond milk latte with a decent sized slice of vegan apple pie, which was delicious! The americano and lemon meringue were also enjoyed!

Great place and atmosphere BUT the menu is just way too big. With it being a Sunday, I figured let me go with a roast. Whilst it wasn't inedible, it just want great. The chicken was as dry as anything and looked boilt / put in the oven for a few seconds to add colour and the yorkshire pudding undercooked.Again at £16.00 you're not expecting Michelin food, but, I feel more focus on quality over quantity with the menu here would go a LONG way.The breakfasts are great, for reference, and we've had these before.

The stars speak for themselves this is an amazing place with a huge roaring log fire an eclectic mix of country home furnishing it's not very often if the feeling takes you, you can purchase the table and chairs you sat at. The staff are attentive polite and welcoming, we visited twice once for lunch and once for breakfast, we opted for the light bites for lunch and had cod pieces which were encased in light and crisp batter are second dish was chicken meat balls both were accompanied by a mixed leaf salad and pea shoot salad and were excellent, for breakfast we opted for poached eggs and salmon with hollandaise sauce the eggs were golden yellow and the salmon was both local(Staithe smokery) and plentiful had we been staying longer I suspect we would have worked through the breakfast menu, as well as the excellent restaurant there is a well stocked deli with meat cheese and all manor of pies if you are in the area or just passing through turn into the car park you won't be disappointed

Thank you Alex for your 'loveliness' you seem to swiftly move around serving us, tidying other table, making us feel welcome. You even opened the door for my husband who was struggling. The food is fabulous, but we know this which is why we return. Alex was the icing on the cake; the feel good factor. Thank you.
