All new staff: which speak so quietly you can't hear them, don't know what food they are bringing out and don't ask if u want any extra sauces or ask how your meals are.Menu has been shortened but quality of food has gone downhill, standard was better before the shortened menu and everything seems microwaved!Cheap food made expensive!Beers aren't that great either.

Can not fault. Looked after me with my culinary needs without question. Partner really praised the steak and kidney pudding. Bar also well priced. Just a shame no pudding.

Food was great with fresh fish and scampi, had to pay extra for peas which you think would be standard with fish and chips? But otherwise fine.Staff were pleasant and attentive, and the inside area is all dog friendly which is a massive bonus for us as not many places in Hunstanton allow dogs inside.

Called in just by chance. It was an usually warm day (yes in November we were able to sit outside). The service was quick and the food was lovely ( we had a cheese sandwich and chips so couldnt go wrong) but the other meals that were ordered looked amazing with good portions. The whole pub was Halloween ready ..looked fab

Shame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have been here many times over the years relying on their basic but acceptable offering but not again unless certain things change. What lets this place down is their inability to accept that if their food is poorly sourced/cooked and a customer complains then there, would normally be good reason. If a chef can't cook a particular product on the menu which was chicken breast then he shouldn't be in the job or that product should not be on the menu. Nor should staff be in their jobs if they do not accept a perfectly reasonably stated complaint but instead be excessively rude. All we got is finish your drinks and go!!!!!!!! These people seem to forget that customers pay their wages. My advice would be to avoid until reviews about food quality and staff rudeness subside. Their sister restaurant, the Marine Bar or the White Horse at Holme would have probably been a better bet but one never knows nowadays.

This is our first visit, and definitely won't be out last. Great views from the outside terrace, and the food was brilliant. The cod was huge, but had to pay extra for peas which you would normally expect to automatically have with a fish and chip meal. I had the fish pie with chips and salad, which was packed with chunky fish, a great sauce and topped with mash, cheese and prawns. Both meals were pipping hot. Meals didn't take long to arrive and the waiter was very attentive. They have gone all out decorating the bar ready for Halloween, which looked fantastic.

Just popped in here for a drink before our coach trip back to Milton Keynes, very clean surround with a great selection of beer on hand pumps. We didn't eat as we eat earlier, have to say that the food being served did look nice and hot and a generous portion.Would definitely use again, perhaps eat there next time as they had a good varied menu.Kid-friendliness: There was a children's menu availableWheelchair accessibility: Easy access from street level

Great position over looking the beach.Poor food choices, nothing vegan friendly, loads of single use plastic sachets containing ketchup, mayo etc not very environmentally friendly. No sun shades outside for a bit of shade on sweltering days.Place gets great decorations for Halloween and Christmas.

Overpriced with poor quality. £6 for one pint and one half pint of coke, main dishes were not worth what I paid. The fish pie and my wife's shepherd's pie were ruined by what can only be described as the worst mash potato ever! It tasted reheated and was pretty naff. The fish pie was mostly potatoe with cheap prawns and a few pieces of bland fish. The cheese on top was tasteless. The salad was at least fresh, but mostly consisted of lettuce. There are much better places to eat near by.
