A delightful hotel in the heart of historic King's Lynn. A listed building, the Bank House is 5 star across the board. Clean and spacious rooms, attentive but not instrusive staff and great food for people that appreciate quality not quantity. Looking forward to me next trip at some point soon. Great for business and pleasure.Food & drinks: Varied and thoughtful dinner menu. Superb quality. Breakfast menu is creative and delicious.

Had Sunday lunch here. Unfortunately the meat was very tough the potatoes were quite tasteless and all in all was quite disappointing. However the crème brulee was good. We were served by a lovely waitress. But sadly wouldn't come

We went for afternoon tea, a group of 25, we had tea and coffee on tap, the selection of sandwich fingers and cakes plus scones wit jam and cream were fantastic, a very happy group,Food & drinks: See above

Went to bank house for anniversary. Had a fantastic roast beef dinner, the beef was cooked perfectly. Staff were friendly. The creme brulee was exactly how I like it. Thanks to all the staff and the chefs for making my day special.

Had a meal, the attention to detail was lacking. Table next to mine was obviously dirty although laid up for new customers, glasses were dirty with fingerprints all over. My table hadn't been cleaned properly and food was average, not as good as you get in a local pub really. Disappointed

Had a leisurely lunch here back in August 2021 and 2 years later it's in my memory so thought I should leave a review. The atmosphere was chilled they were training new staff at the time so the service was hit and miss but the maitre d', she was great supervising, training and apologising ?. The food was lovely we had 3 courses and wine. I would go back if I was in the area again.

Crumbs on the chair i was usherd too, hair on the bottle of water brought to the table. Asked for no ice in my drink and it came with ice, hence we didnt stay. For the prices being charged you need to do better.

The Kings Room overlooked the Square, it was spacious, had a large comfy bed and a large bath. It was over the hotel entrance lobby which has heavy doors so each morning early, we woke to banging of doors and music from we think a delivery vehicle. Cups too big to lift for cup of tea in room. Staff very friendly which made up for lack of cleanliness in room and dining room (cobwebs where candles seem to be put on wire shelf); attention to detail is needed and working more as a team. Glasses and tea cups still on tables hours after we left. Parasols on floor on terrace so we had to step over them and table not clean of birds mess. No marmalade after 3 days of asking. No soap to wash hand in bathroom in room just one small bottle of ‘wash’. Changing rooms to eat breakfast without prior knowledge. Hoovering near food in Morning when clients are eating. Water fight on terrace with children over the wall?? No notice stating workmen were on premises and couldn’t use part of terrace. Management were very understanding at the issues we did mention to them and we thank them, even Sue went and bought a bottle of marmalade tho’ we had already done so. Overall slightly disappointed by our 4 day stay but it was made up for by the staff and Chad the chef produced lovely food.

Nice outdoor seating area. Excellent choice of drinks -Poretti, Estrella, Corona, local gin etc. Food was good but didn't feel like a summer menu but was told they will start up the seafood platter soon (July). Service was good, friendly and the barman seemed to know his cocktails.

I have some pinocchio (without chocolate) and super-duper cake here on Sunday. There is a nice old English atmosphere here with well-dressed staff and well preserved classical surroundings. So far, it's been a pleasant experience with the well-mannered staff .Food & drinks: I have enjoyed the bar area.

Very nice place with a good history of wine smuggling. Cellar is a good visit below which is eery with corridoors everywhere leading to the unknown
