Attended the beer festival on Saturday afternoon. No beer left but still charged entrance fee and still tried to sell beer tokens.

A Fine Gem in a Quiet Spot - a great welcome (even for our two terriers), great breakfast, excellent service, the broadest smiles and the fluffiest towels around. What's not to love? thank you all at Stuart House Hotel!

I stayed overnight with my girlfriend for our anniversary and loved it! The staff are so kind and the hotel is lovely and has lovely gardens.Only criticism really is that the spa bath in our room needed a good clean and the lights in the garden weren't turned on which was enough to make me feel it was slightly overpriced. But other than that, a fantastic hotel.

I last stayed here a few years ago and the rooms have had an upgrade! The showers are powerful and the (single) bed was very comfortable. My only quibble was the galvanised box outside my window (Room 5) which must be an automatic aircon or something kicking-off every 15mins and vibrating with a metallic harmonic rattle...all night... I solved that the next night by closing the bedroom window and keeping the bathroom window open (as its summer). Not ideal but it worked. That may be worth looking at guys! Apart from that hiccup the breakfast was great and the staff are brilliant. It has a good bar and outside seating front & rear. The hotel lies far back along a private drive (with plenty of parking) so there is no nighttime car noise and is only a 10-15 min walk into town via the beautiful, 'The Walks' and its Red Mount. This is a great place to stay just outside the town center so I'm keeping my five stars as I love staying here!

Delightful overnight stay with our dog. Staff are an efficient, helpful, smiley, multitasking team. Our room well furnished and spotless as was the bathroom and we had easy access to the enclosed private garden .Evening meal hot and welcoming, breakfast scrambled eggs were buttery and scrumptious..

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and birthdays. Having spent a few days with our family we moved on to King's Lynn, a new place for us. We wanted somewhere a little bit special and having looked up some places to stay, chose Stuart House. I phoned and spoke to a very helpful and pleasant lady who booked us in for our requested two nights. On arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our ground floor superior room. Very comfortable and we'll fyrnished. Comfortable bed, two chairs TV and quality furniture along with generous supply of tea coffee etc. We dined in in both evenings and enjoyed the food and drink as well as two very good breakfasts. Free car parking, residents private garden. All the staff were friendly and helpful and it was good to meet the owner and compliment him. Will we return? you bet we will. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. Val and Dennis.

Quiet place in cul-de-sac with some limited parking place. Bit far from the town centre. No frills room but comfortable and clean. Acceptable breakfast. Overall, nice place but nothing stands out - good for one-off stay.

The Hotel itself is really lovely. I have stayed in Room 4 on 2 separate occasions and it feels really high end.I ate in the restaurant on the first stay. The food was ok, nothing special. On the 2nd visit, I attended the restaurant at 8.37pm after some late meetings. I was told the kitchen (which had opened at 5.30pm) was now shut, but I could (begrudgingly) have a Sandwich or Scampi and Chips. I'm vegetarian, so Scampi wasn't an option and a sandwich wasn't really of interest. I found it very odd that a hotel restaurant would only be open for 3 hoursStaff were generally pleasant. Would stay again, but wouldn't bother eating there

This is my second stay for business. First time around was very pleasant. I had Room 4, which is very grand. Looks the best of the rooms after looking online. Dinner was ok quality and value for money. Second stay, again I was in Room 4. Expecting good things again. HOWEVER, upon going for dinner at 8.37pm, I was told the kitchen was shut (shuts at 8.30pm) but I may be able to have a sandwich or Scampi and Chips. (Neither of which appealed after a long day of work and driving AND being a vegetarian). When I refused I was asked what I wanted, but it was too late, my moral for eating was gone. The kitchen only starts serving at 5.30pm. Unbelievable to only open the kitchen for 3 hours..... In a hotel ?........ Broken Britain. Probably won't stay again

A weekend away that should of happened 2 years ago, but got cancelled because of the Covid. The food was excellent and plentiful. Bar prices are competitive and not expensive. The staff couldn't help enough! 11/02/22-13/02/22

Such a lovely place to relax with excellent food and drinks on offer and very friendly helpful staff. We're lucky to live close to this Hotel/Restaurant/Bar.
