An accommodation gem of the norfolk broads.Stayed over from Christmas eve until boxing day morning to be near to my daughter and her family. The room, customer service, and food were exceptional considering the time of year and staffing pressures. The team of enthusiastic and dedicated staff made the stay enjoyable considering they also had their own family commitments for Christmas day.If your looking for a vibrant traditional Norfolk town as a base to explore the Norfolk broads from then you need to look no further than the Swan Loddon.Rooms: Exceptional and very comfortableWalkability: The Swan is on the high sreet with easy walking to all town facilities. I'm walking stick disabled myselfFood & drinks: Excellent food and service
As ever the quality of the food and friendly service was spot on. However (and not for the first time) the cheese board was very disappointing. Minimal everything for unreasonable £11! We will speak personally to the management about this. This element needs to improve

We stayed 2 nights for my wife’s birthday and overall it was a very nice relaxing stay. Staff were helpful and friendly and rooms comfortable, and I’ve only marked down a star because of the slightly limited menu - the food on offer was very good- which was the same for lunch and dinner. A few lunch options would’ve been appreciated as would 2-3 more options of both starter and main courses. A couple more slight negatives was that one of the toilet rolls in the room was half used and the shower head leaked badly from one end which should’ve been picked up. Overall a very good visit.

Had lunch in the Swan and we really enjoyed the food. The pub had a nice atmosphere and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.
