Bar in

“just spent a week staying in a cottage at Upton and popped into the White Horse every evening. A really nice community pub, well run, good food and some really interesting beer. As a beer lover I like to try new beers whenever I can and I was spoilt for choice. No generic beers but a good choice of local brews which were constantly changing. The pub is dog friendly and the team working there are excellent! When holidaying in the UK a local, dog friendly pub with good beer and great staff is a must and the White Horse came up trumps Will hopefully be back very soon”

“Jessica was absolutely amazing with us girls tonight for my friends 30th birthday. She couldn't do enough for us as a table, constantly smiling, happy and ready to help. Jessica, thank you so much for your service. You've gone above and beyond for us and it hasn't gone unnoticed. Thank you. Xxx”

“Very nice food and staff quick service . prices from £20 up for a evening meal. The only thing I didn't like that they allow dogs in the evening .I've got a dog lunch time yes evening no was like having a meal with a dog at the vets a lot off people don't won't that in the evening Barking dogs. But that's my own ? thoughts. But yes food service price all excellent ?Food & drinks: Very nice”

“I can't rate the food because I didn't try it, but the atmosphere was top tier, we went on a weekday so it was very quiet, but the music in the background was great, all staff were very friendly and accommodating and gave us loads of info about the things we asked about! Special thanks to Alex, our host for the Axe throwing, we went as a family of six (my nan, aunt, dad, brother, sister, and myself ), and we all had an absolute blast! She gave us a lot of support, where we asked, and gave us some useful tips for the rookies who had never tried it. She explained the rules of the area in an entertaining and quick manner in a way where we all understood and explained the scoring system quickly, too, still making sure we understood throughout. She was incredibly friendly and showed a lot of enthusiasm in our playing, even got involved when prompted by myself! She was really fun to be around and would definitely go again when I'm next in Norwich!I just wish we weren't on a time limit so I could've hung around more and had some more of their, quite frankly delicious cocktails! (We weren't forced out or anything, just had a lot to do over the day ?)”

“A lucky find and the way home from a few days at the coast. Despite being busy we were accommodated without fuss together with our large greyhound. Some lovely starters were followed by one of the best Sunday lunches I've ever had, plentiful and tasty, my partner had a chilli con carne she she also reported as exceptional. Great food, great service and reasonable prices, if only we didn't live over 2 hours away ?”
