Absolutely delicious food. Popped in for lunch and didn't regret it one bit. Great menu selection, fresh produce and whilst traditional pub food, what makes it so good is that it's homemade with a contemporary twist. First class; good portions, top quality, with a very friendly and welcoming licensee and staff. Definitely going back for more, along with our Sunday lunch!Vegetarian options: The season's vegetable lasagna was beautifully prepared and very warning... Delicious

Very much enjoyed our visit on Saturday lunchtime. Proper traditional old pub, nothing fancy but clean, bright and well presented. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere, not too many customers today. The staff were speedy and professional while still interacting amicably with customers, many clearly locals. The food was plentiful, tasty, and reasonably priced. A number of posters advertising upcoming events were on display. A great pub - we'll be back quite soon!

We had an amazing lunch here. We were warmly welcomed and everyone was very friendly. We opted for the Club Sandwich which was massive! The ingredients were all fresh and it tasted great. All washed down with a few pints of Ghost Ship while sitting in the nice beer garden. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again.
