I was part of group of 7 cyclists who stayed at the hotal on 02.07.22 - we were all impressed with the reception service received including explanation of what would be required for the meal deal which we had all pre purchased. We were less than impressed with the evening meal service at the restaurant - desserts were served with a half an hour gap between the first to and the remaining 5 orders. Still incredibly tired. I stayed here due to attending a wedding. This was meant to break up the journey and get a restful night so not to be exhausted the next day. The window didn’t open (it said restrictions not sealed shut) the room temperatures reached over 27 at night. The fan provided was really loud. You can hear EVERY FOOTSTEP, unless gravity is especially strong in the corridor that foot steps are much heavier. Cars revving their engines at midnight sounded like it...read full review
Serving Staff at The Oaks Restaurant, particularly Makenzie, Paige, and Callum, excelled in their attention to their work, reassuring one and all, that Guests were an important part of their work, and a pleasure to serve.
