Stayed here for a night with our 2 children in the family room. We wanted a place to stay in between two days out in Norfolk and what a great find this place was.\\n\\nThe staff are all really friendly and provide great service in all aspects of the stay.\\n\\nThe room was very nice, immaculate, a good size and perfect for the four of us. The food was excellent, we had dinner and breakfast (breakfast included) and both were great.\\n\\nI would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back again in the future.

We didn't stay at The Black Swan although some of our guests did and they were very complimentary - sadly we were there for a funeral wake and I can honestly say that the whole experience from first contacting The Black Swan has been excellent. Sharon was very helpful, kind, sensitive and advised me well when I needed and Kim too was also helpful and patient when I changed my mind a few times. The location and the venue was perfect, the tables looked lovely all laid out with the food, everything I had asked for was supplied and the food was delicious - first class. It was nice to be able to go and sit in the garden later. Another point is that the toilets were spotless.

Lovely lunch my only criticism is was table of 8 all had carverys but no sauces offered to compliment meats and a purée of sweet potato put on all plates which was not liked by all

We booked to stay for 2 nights for a wedding we were attending. The good things about the place - The food in the restaurant was nice, and clearly is a hit with the locals. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, it has pretty much everything you'd expect. Plenty of parking. The not so good - From our room, you can easily hear and feel the bass from music being played somewhere, perhaps in this building or an adjoining building, until gone midnight. We heard it both nights we were there. It also came back on at 8am. The walls take 'paper thin' to a new level. When the neighbours use their bathroom, it sounds like they're in our room. The shower is too small the stand up in unless you're 5ft tall. The plumbing is terrible, finding the sweet spot between being showered with icy water or molten lava wasnt much fun... When the neighbours use their taps, the noise from the pipes was so loud in our room that you have to shout to be heard. All in all, not a great place to stay in my opinion.

My elderly grandad went and quietly paid without telling anybody. However, my sister had seen they were doing 30% off the bill for the bank holiday. The guy behind the bar refused to do the refund for my grandad and said he couldn’t do it. Stay away!

My Wife and I had heard some recent good experiences enjoyed by aquaintances visiting the Black Swan restaurant recently. On the Strength of that we booked for Sunday lunch on 24th April and were not disappointed. Really nice environment with delightful, polite and courteous staff. Food and drinks served promptly by the attentive staff. Excellent Sunday lunch, not just abundant in quantity but beautifully prepared and presented. Certainly one of the best Sunday lunches my Wife and I have enjoyed in recent years and it's on our doorstep! We are certainly returning to sample dinner in the near future. Would heartily recommend. Thank you to all at the Black Swan.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. The accommodation was extremely clean, well equipped, and tastefully decorated. We decided to have Sunday lunch here too...we were not disappointed. It was one of the best Sunday roasts I have ever had. Perfectly cooked, and plenty of it. The staff are polite and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. We will most definitely be back!
