Had to give a little appreciation post for this place after my second visit last night.

A few weeks back I visited for the first time with a friend & knew that I needed to bring my partner (he knows his burgers & can be fussy with them). Finally got to revisit last night for a little date night & it had somehow gotten even better.

So, let’s talk about the food. The beef burgers are proper smashed patties, the chicken is crispy & flavourful, the fries are seasoned with some sort of magic that I’m still thinking about today. The sauces are amazing (heads up, if they sold these in bottles I’d be buying them to take home). I’ve sampled a decent little portion of the menu now but will undoubtedly be back for more soon.

Cocktails? Also amazing. Not much to say here but they definitely compliment the burger-y goodness. The range of beer is top tier too!

You’re always guaranteed a warm welcome from the team, no matter how busy they are. Super accommodating wherever they can be, whether it’s making little tweaks to your order or dietary requirements being met without compromising on quality.

Considering I’ve got a pretty long list of places I’d like to try in Norwich but decided to head back here, says a fair bit right?! Last night was packed so I’d definitely recommend booking when you plan a visit.

We’ve just had an exceptionally tasty lunch at Bun X.We opted for the sharing tray ‘bun feast’ - it’s such a good idea.Everything was delicious, our cans of IPA were very good too. We’ll be back!

Heard about here through the grapevine so decided to try them out. I went on a Thursday lunch so it was quiet but the staff were incredibly friendly and I didn't feel like I was an inconvenience. Now the food. You will not be disappointed! Probably the best burger I've had, and if it wasn't the best it's been so long since I've had a burger this enjoyable I can't remember it. I went with the big Micawber ( I think that's the name) the burgers are seared high with a fantastic crust being created and it was packed full of garnish. I also got the seasoned fries. They're dusted in a spice mix then topped with a burger sauce esque sauce and pickled cabbage. Delicious. It wasn't cheap (nor excessive) but I left satisfied and full for many hours after so well worth the money. I don't think you'll find a better burger joint. Next time I'm getting burnt ends! Oh the cider was delicious also!

Dropped in on a whim. Were almost turned away by the slightly high prices, but in the end we sat down and are we glad we did. The burgers were the best tasting we'd had all year. The chicken tenders amazingly juicy and the sauces unique and excellent. Service was very kind and attentive and while there was a slight mishap with our order, she fixed it so fast and so politely, that I can't count it against her.Well worth the price and more. Visit this place if you like burgers.

Had the pleasure of eating here for a weekend lunch, The burgers have got to be some of the best ive ever tasted! Smoky, beefy and cooked to perfection. Also had some of their chicken wings which had some great dips like chilli and honey and garlic which seemed homemade. The loaded chips with pink pickled onion and seasoning were also crisp and delicious. Overall a great experience and will certainly be back!

I'm already planning my next visit ? incredible quality food, excellent service from kitchen to FoH, playlist on point...really cannot fault it. It looked to me like the whole team loved to be there and it made for a great atmosphere; something hard to come by. Looking forward to working my way through the menu! ?

One of....if not the best burger I have had. The burger was amazing! I had the one with pork scratchings and wow!!! Amazing!!!. Not only the food was great, the service was brilliant too. The waitress was friendly and gave some great recommendations. The place was a nice cosy pub style too and very chilled.

Probably one of the best burgers I've had. Prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for! Top quality food all freshly prepared in front of us. First tried these guys when they started at the Reindeer Pub about 3 or 4 years ago and they're still just as good.

Was very quiet when we arrived, but not for long! First time coming and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff have a unique skill of creating the perfect atmosphere, very attentive and on top of everything, and equally as polite as they are talented! Portion sizes were a wonderful surprise, couldn't finish my meal but coming back for round 2 very soon and can't wait to see them grow in Norwich

Love this place. The burger mebue is fantastic and the mozzarella bites are next level. Can get quite noisey and rowdy so not somewhere if your looking for a quiet family meal! Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Yeah.... its awesome.Good portion size I.e. I had a x2 burger, which has two patties in. This was a great amount for me and the thin patties were sooo tasty. The brioche bun was full of flavour and didn't fall apart. Their was some burger sauce and cheese, along with onion and pickle, all was well proportioned and complimented each other perfectly.£11 too which was great value for money. My friends had a sharing platter, which looked incredible and was also great value. The service was fantastic. I was on my lunch break and got served inside of an hour.I throughly recommend going to the Bun Exchange.

Best burgers in the city. What’s more to say?!

After hearing good things my wife booked us in today for my birthday.(I will add staff didn't know this information so we came in as just regular customers not someone who was having special treatment)Anyway staff were welcoming, friendly and interacting with our 3yo and 1yo which was nice.We ordered the feast tray, two burgers and two sides as you can see at £25 which was very reasonable. As someone who eats a lot of burgers this was the best burger I've eaten, those who reckon Gonzo's is have clearly not eaten here. Can't fault the food or staff so deserving of this 5* review.
