I can't recommend this place enough. From the decor, to the food, to the service, Sam is a one man army. We enjoyed one of the best meals I've had in this country at a very reasonable price.Sam is an incredibly talented chef and is happy to explain any aspect of his dishes. Towards the end of the meal we happened to be the last guests, and he sat and talked with us briefly about his hometown, while showing us his selection of homemade liqueurs.My only disappointment with the meal is that I'm moving out of the county and won't be able to come back any time soon.

Exquisite little restaurant, the chef was very friendly and incredibly skilled. The tasting menu was delectable and filled us all perfectly. The price is very reasonable and atmosphere was smashing. Would highly recommend.

Had a group meal with some friends here recently. The food was absolutely fantastic, service was great and the small table count kept it all feeling very intimate. Would recommend to anyone who wants to try a great seasonal menu.

Such a lovely dining experience. Sam does all the cooking and serving. On our last visit we had a five course tasting menu and it was perfect and inventive . The food is delicious and he is a charming host.Simple surroundings. Not too pricey. Nice wine list. Excellent negronis. Becoming a fast favourite of ours.

The food was sensational, Michelin star quality at excellent value. Sam, the waiter, chef and sommelier, was so friendly through all email booking correspondence and so personable throughout our visit. We can’t wait to go again.
