Booking a table was easy and they were able to be flexible with the time as we were running late.It's not the widest menu, but there were choices for all 3 picky eaters to choose from.Food was fresh cooked and really tasty.Thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely return.

Had some good beers at reasonable prices but bar stools along the bar makes it difficult to order and there is no feeling of atmosphere ?

Just a 15minute drive from the crowds of the city to a cosy village pub with plenty of parking. We’ve been a fair few times now since the new owners took over and the food never disappoints. They often have live music too which makes for a perfect get together with friends. Today we visited for Sunday Lunch, absolutely delicious and the staff friendly and welcoming. This place should be popping up on every foodies social media feed. What a wonderful job you’ve done! Thank you so much!

Recommended this to friends after eating here a couple of times since it reopened under new management in the summer, so so pleased we did, we all had a wonderful meal, lovely food, and friendly staff that can not do enough. Will be back again very soon.

Just visited the Kings Head for an amazing birthday meal with my family. All I can say is wow! Service, ambience and food were all amazing. The roasts looked awesome, so much so I have to return as I had major food envy (I had the burger which was amazing but I have to return to try out the rest of the menu). Please make a visit to this lovely pub - you won’t be disappointed!
The food was delicious, a great choice of vegetables and the meat was excellent Service was great A lovely atmosphere definitely will be going back
