We arrived at 2.30pm to see if we could get some lunch, we were greeted with a smile and that the kitchen was closed but he would check with the chef. We were asked to pick what we would like form the menu. we both choose Sandwiches and they were fresh filling served with a side salad and crisps. The beer was exceptional, according to my partner. Good to see a pub with locals and tourists along with great service & good food. We will be back.

The Star is amazing. Great food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere Just had an amazing t bone steak. Highly recommend this fabulous place. The new team who now run The Star should be very proud of what they have achieved. I know their customers are all delighted.

I visited The Lessingham Star on Thursday 6th July 2023 for a pint of ale however due to the amazing smells of food coming from the restaurant I decided to book a table for the following day. The ale selection at The Lessingham Star is superb!Not only is the ale selection amazing but the atmosphere is too! I had such a wonderful time both days! I highly recommend!

We stopped in for a lunchtime pint today.It was lovely. Friendly welcome both staff and regulars.Booked a table for an evening meal. The service was excellent. Lovely ladies behind the bar. Quick service for food. Which was excellently cooked. So much.on the pate.I requested a doggie bag. Because the gamon steak was huge. To much for an old fella.Under new management I believe. Very welcoming staff. I believe eventually it will do B&B.Dog friendly. We will be back. Thanks.Just wish we had stopped on the way in and not on the last but one day of our holiday. Best wishes to all the staff in your new venture.

Tom and Karl were great hosts. As a group of four, we walked for about 30minutes from some local accommodation over to the pub and we welcomed in to a fire and good drinks. Would definitely recommend!
