The Star is amazing. Great food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere Just had an amazing t bone steak. Highly recommend this fabulous place. The new team who now run The Star should be very proud of what they have achieved. I know their customers are all delighted.
Highly recommend The Star! Went for Sunday lunch which was delicious and served quickly. The staff were very friendly and helpful from start to finish. There were two vegans in the group and the chef came out to explain the options, including cauliflower cheese and gravy for the roast, and a couple of options for dessert as well. All very tasty, would definitely visit again if we are in the area.

We arrived at 2.30pm to see if we could get some lunch, we were greeted with a smile and that the kitchen was closed but he would check with the chef. We were asked to pick what we would like form the menu. we both choose Sandwiches and they were fresh filling served with a side salad and crisps. The beer was exceptional, according to my partner. Good to see a pub with locals and tourists along with great service & good food. We will be back.
