Had a lovely meal at lunchtime yesterday, food was tasty and nice size portions! Company was great and The White Horse accommodated our party of 9 really well.

Visited as a group of ten friends yesterday for our Christmas group lunch which was lovely. Had a choice of the normal menu or Christmas menu. Portions were good, very tasty and thoroughly enjoyed, wide range of choice on the menus too, thank you.

Wanted to try somewhere new for Sunday lunch and after researching came across this pub. Lovely pub warm and welcoming. Was very busy but woman working behind bar was friendly and efficient despite being the only one working behind bar. She said they were one member of staff down. I had the lamb, my mum the beef and she said best roast she had, and she's hard to please. Lamb was tender my meal was £13 very reasonable. I had read reviews where it said car park was big, I would say it holds 15 cars and on a busy Sunday may be a little awkward to find a space. Will be back.

I went to be in an Open Mic. The feel of the pub was great. I'll go again.

We came here for a late'ish Sunday lunch. We'd never been here. We were welcomed and shown to our table by a very polite young man and our waiter was a similarly 16 year old young lady who has a lovely smile and looked after us wonderfully. We had 2 x nut roasts, one lamb roast and one pork roast. All were very nicely cooked. The only criticism was that the roast potatoes weren't very "roasted"We'll be back.Thank you for a nice lunch ?Vegetarian options: The nut roast was deliciousParking: There is parking at the back

SOULESS!!Staying locally in Whitlingham and expected to find a bustling pub in an affluent area, buzzing on a Saturday night. Nope. A handful of tables eating and a grumpy bartender. Four double house gin and tonic over £30 - garnish was a slice of lemon. Much better experience up the hill at Crown Point. Up your game!

Sunday Lunch here Today was very good, i had leg of lamb & my partner had topside of beef, both were deliciously tender & full of flavour, there was a variety of fresh vegetable's cooked to perfection with roast potatoes & Yorkshire pudding. A really good idea was that you could order a larger meal for an extra £2 or a smaller one for £1 less. All the serving staff were very pleasant, this is somewhere i am happy to recommend.

We had a roast dinner here and it was absolutely delicious ? the staff were very welcoming and friendly.Added bonus there is a park directly opposite so my little boy could go & play whilst we waited for our food. The hanging baskets on the front of the pub were beautiful. We will definitely be back to try some different food ?

I'd say this was a mediocre experience. Albeit the drinks were fine as was the service it certainly felt like we paid for more than fine. From the outside, the pub looked stunning. Nestled in the beautiful village I expected a goldmine of good food and drink. It was all a bit underwhelming. So so drinks but priced like something special. An ultimately disappointing experience in what could be something incredible. Redwell brewery up the road are so much better.

The White Horse has a nice village pub atmosphere with a view over the village green/rec and I felt relaxed. Good food too.Parking: Room for about 12 to 15 cars with no extra parking in the village
