We were en route home so decided to stop off for breakfast. Eggs Benedict and Eggs on smashed avocado. Luverly. Pleasant staff and a nice decaf flat white. What’s not to like. Very, very child-friendly with activities for the little ones out back. Enjoy ?

I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the lovely ladies at Margaret's Tea Room, my son and his friend's thoroughly enjoyed the amazing Halloween Disco to celebrate his 5th Birthday Party yesterday! The decor, activities, party games / prizes, food, everything was quality. You made hosting a party for my son who is born on Halloween so easy, all of the children said how amazing it was and we had ages from 16 months to 9 years old and every child was entertained! We hope and look forward to a replay next year!Thank you all again ????❤️✨️ ??Kid-friendliness: The staff go above and beyond to make the children feel welcome! Such an amazing place ?

Ordered a ploughman’s lunch, took a long time to arrive when it did half, the stuff was missing and replaced with other bits. Porkpie was missing placed with half a sausage roll. On the menu, it said two slices of ham we only got about half a slice not worth the money and attitude wasn’t very good. They didn’t come to explain about the exchanges and it look like we was made to feel it was our fault, got a refund on just a meal.

The tea and coffee were good, but the scone was dry and tasteless. The clotted cream and jam were both in sealed containers, so were not fresh or homemade. The brownie was dry and too fudgey. Nice large tea room in the heart of Swaffham. The staff were chatting behind the counter and left us standing waiting for quite awhile.

Not very good, ordered a Ploughman’s half the stuff I’ve been replaced for example on the menu, it said porkpie had run out so substituted it with half a sausage roll. It also said two slices of ham was more like half a slice no one come up to tell us exchange or to explain to us what happened just got our money back not very happy poor service

On holiday in Wells, stopped here for breakfast on a day out and really enjoyed, good service, lovely breakfast, lots of room and spaced out tables, enjoyed the 1940’s vibe, all in all a very pleasant experience.

£2 for the play area with the broken slide that has been broken for months. £7.50 for a panini that comes with a salad which includes up to 1 cherry tomato. The children's tv doesn't connect and i have to keep getting up to close the door so the children can't run out into the road (psst door closers exist). There are signs, notices and blackboards everywhere but only a select few have prices on them. The kitchen door is open to the children's area and the servers walk across it with your food to get to the main counter.

Would not recommend or would visit again unfortunately, Food was ok but expensive for what we got ,When you read a menu that is what you expect to have served to you, Not something subbed for cheaper stuff, without letting the customers know, That you may not get what you have ordered. Service was very vague but friendly when I talked to someone, Had to ask a few times for basic stuff like cutlery, butter. Ended up leaving disappointed and a little annoyed.

Felt like a hospital cafe, depressing but the two girls were very attentive so that was the only upside

Real friendly service and nice fresh food. Child play zone (3-8 yrs), wheel chair friendly, barefoot friendly and dogs welcome. Clean gents Quality cutlery. Original decor. Spacious. Visit on a Monday lunch. Worth a detour off the A47. I do not normal give 5 stars.

Horrible dirty plastic flowers surround the tea room front entrance, which is totally out of character for the charming old market town. Breakfast was generous, but very poor quality and took a long time to arrive. Might be suitable for children, but there are so many more attractive venues for discerning adults!

What a lovely find.Met family members here for lunch.Food very reasonably priced and large portions and a very reasonabley priced over 50's menu.Staff were very friendly and helpful.Plenty of tables, with a large children's play area with tables to eat and a small outside area.Dogs welcome.Would definitely recommend.
