Cockley Cley, SwaffhamWhat a lovely, lovely place. Such a quaint, village pub. Babs & the staff are absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was great and homemade. Good choice of drinks. We had an elderly parent with us and Babs was fabulous with him. The local people were friendly and all welcomed us. We will definitely return. So pleased to have found this charming pub ?

The Red Lion
87 Market Pl, SwaffhamI made a very last minute booking after a nearby hotel made an error with my reservation.
The staff were friendly and sorted a room quickly. The room itself was clean and warm and ideal for wandering out to visit Swaffham.
Being a Wednesday in February the kitchen closed very early at 6pm, but there were plenty of takeaway options nearby.

Steam-Shed Brewing
The old Train Shed, SwaffhamI discovered Steam Shed Brewery when my local pub (King Charles III) had Hobnail on tap, since then I have tried several of their beers direct from the brewery. Favourites include M'Bewty, All Change, Light Load and Hobnail, but they are all good, especially the small batch specials.

The Teapot
Plowright Surgery, 7-8, Plowright Place, SwaffhamThe Tea Pot Cafe is a great place to purchase all your drinks, cakes and meals. All these are beautifully displayed and really clean .
Great toilet facilities for the customers, which are also spotlessly clean.
What stands out is the genuine care that the staff hold for their customers. My Dad had a mini stroke when we were there one time and they helped with such great care, which I shall be forever thankful for.
The quiches here are the best I have ever consumed. Such a lovely place to be.
This establishment has disability assisted toilets and seating.
Highly recommended.

The Greyhound
97 Market Pl, SwaffhamLove this pub it doesn't supply food but those who wish to can bring same in . I cannot praise Landlord, Landlady and their staff enough .
A recent review was submitted and I have to say some issues pointed out appear to have been misconstrued.
Easily done if not realising the seating arrangements and those who supply same .
I do hope this will help those who wish to visit The Greyhound any day of the week not just Saturdays.

34A Market Pl, SwaffhamI do enjoy a Subway. Especially the steak sub with all the salads. Prices have increased a lot tho.It's nearly £10.00 for a 12 inch Sub meal these days.Much like McDonald's they are starting to price themselves out of many peoples budgets. After all, we can get a full plate of food, with a drink for £10 virtually anywhere.As much as I enjoy Subway, the value just is not there anymore.Anyway, back to the Swaffham branch. The store was clean, all tables wiped. Staff courtesy was exemplary. If I order online or as a walk in, my food take no time to prepare. The presentation has mostly been 100%.Will I visit again? Of course I will.

Mother Hubbards
91 Market Pl, SwaffhamVisiting Celiac and found this just out of chance when looking for friends. Called up to order and staff were knowledgeable able and made me feel confident in the business. Remember to allow extra time for cooking gluten free. Fish and chips were great. Even had gluten free vinegar. A must visit for those missing fish and chips. 5 star.

McDonald's Norwich Road
Norwich Road, SwaffhamProbably the best McDonalds I've been to. Good parking just off the A47 and next to a fuel station.
This place is always clean and has very friendly and efficient staff.
