Food is really good but the rooms and hotel needs some TLT its looks very tired. Our bathroom had water stains on the floor and mildew around the bath.Rooms: TiredFood & drinks: Very good value and tasty

Go back to the 70's. But the better kitchen in The Burgh of Thetford. I claim it.

Unfortunately this hotel is in serious need of a refit. The reception and bar areas are shabby, the furniture in the common areas is dated, the restaurant is also shabby and requires refurbishment as well as the rooms requiring updating. We even noted torn curtains in the restaurant at breakfast. It's a shame, as I would expect a higher standard from Green King

Rachel goes above and beyond. Well done. As do the other staff.Food & drinks: The food is very tasty

a great one

Never any hand wash in the mens toilet downstairs. Dogs allowed to roam freely, sometimes smelly and mis-behaved. Unhygenic.

After recently arranging a funeral reception for a very dear friend I would like to praise the amazing support myself and the family received while arranging this, we arranged to meet Nicola who kindly worked round a time that was convenient for the family, the family felt at ease as soon as they met her every detail was carefully planned and arranged to the families exact requirements, a private room was arranged which we were allowed to decorate to celebrate his life, on the day of the reception everything was laid out beautifully and the food and cakes were delicious, I absolutely recommend Nicola for anyone who is looking for a venue to hold any form of occasion. Thank You Nicola for outstanding service.Noteworthy details: A funeral reception.

Can’t fault the location of this old coaching inn. Very central and in a potentially very attractive old building.Visited initially for a drink. Decent bar with a couple of gaming machines. The beer was Amstel. Good atmosphereCame back later for food. Very quiet. Food was disappointing - overcooked lasagna and pate had run out. Happens sometimes; guess we picked a bad time.Didn’t stay in hotel so no comment on that.Overall would drink at again, probably not eat.

Only had a meal here but found this hotel to be really nice, large downstairs rooms, restaurant was clean and staff friendly, dog friendly in bar. Meals were nice, doggy menus to which was really nice touch. Looking forward to going back. Very central locationFood & drinks: Enjoyed the meals we had there. Good service.

We came here to visit a few friends in Thetford and The Bell hotel was one of the hotels that was great value, we really liked our room and it was really easy to check in and get our keys. We slept really well and the dinner was delicious too. It's really close to the town centre too which means it was perfect after nightclubbing to come here and relax rather than the stress of travelling on a weekend!
