We just dropped in here on spec at 8.45pm (closes at 9.00). We were made most welcome. Did was good quality, with something in the menu due all 4 of our different tastes. A good find after an evening on the beach.

Went in for gluten free lunch, with the promise from the menu that all sandwiches could be made gluten free. Placed the order fine but then the waitress came back to tell us that the chefs had refused to make the club sandwich gluten free and we had to leave. Disappointed and would not be back here again

Visited for lunch, 3 of us and 3 dogs. Great, amazing friendly service. Loved the bar and vibe. We had lunch and i have to say the club sandwich was bang on! This is my go to sandwich and by far I enjoyed this one a lot!. My sister had the rarebit and my other sister had the beef and cheese sandwich and loved it. A must for anyone looking for great tasting food!

A very warm welcome was experienced from staff and the eating environment was very pleasant. The food was prepared fresh and well presented. Even the dog enjoyed the visit. Definitely will return. ??☕️❤

I think they should change their name to Bang Average. We had high hopes for this place but left feeling disappointed. Staff weren’t very friendly or accommodating. Our waitress seemed to be in a bad mood. Service was very slow on a Thursday evening. Waited 45 minutes for our food. We were a table of 5 adults and 3 kids but still weren’t expecting such a long wait for food. The portions were very small and overpriced. Vegan options are limited (toastie only). Even drink options were limited as they didn’t have common drinks like lemonade, lemon and lime, etc. If this restaurant was in a large city, it wouldn’t last very long. Not related to the food but the extractor fan in the outdoor area makes a continuous loud tapping noise. All in all, I’d give this one a miss.

What a great find, wandered in when they were very busy, however they found a table for us. The food was freshly cooked and the drinks were generous. Would thoroughly recommend.

We stopped off for a late breakfast here, the service was very friendly and we had a lovely table. Our breakfast was ok, muffins were very dry and the breakfast was small for the price.

Went in for a late breakfast and sat in the lovely enclosed courtyard as the weather was good. Had eggs benedict and eggs funghi and both had coffee. Well cooked, well presented, and tasty food and drinks. Service was a little sketchy and after asking for the bill eventually paid it in the way out but not an issue.

Fish tray was lovely with a great selection. Bang bang chicken was very tasty. Great selection of hot and cold drinks including some very local cider. Indoor and outdoor seating, some of which is under permanent cover and others with parasols. Dog friendly inside and out. Lots of different menu items suitable for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Parts were excellent... Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were perfect. The full English came with over cooked poached eggs. . the waitress even knew this as she served them, over cooked bacon and deep fried sausage which was bigger than s chipolata, but smaller than a traditional sausage.Home made marmalade tasted good, but had been kept in the fridge so was very cold good tea and OJ.The kitchens appeared very clean, just a little more consistency needed

A great flat white coffee for a start. DIY crab sandwich was superb as was the club sandwich. Both good portions without being ridiculously large, made with fresh ingredients. The cakes were standout too! Friendly, attentive staff along with clean & tidy tables/toilets etc.

I suspect they are short staffed as the service was slow - we waited so long after our main courses that I eventually went off to find someone to take our dessert orders. Food was variable in quality and taste…some very good; others a bit dry. Lovely decor with a pretty courtyard. Sadly we were seated next to a large party who were already quite noisy when we arrived; by the end of our meal we couldn’t wait to leave as the more they drank the noisier they got - to the point where we couldn’t have a conversation without shouting. I appreciate that there wasn’t a lot the staff could do about this though.
