British • “Wonderful welcome, all staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely, comfortable beds, great shower. Lovely fresh cooked breakfast. The meals in the evening were lovely, especially liked the chicken, leek and bacon pie. Could not fault our 4 night stay.”

“The most lovely young woman served us with ice cream. Really friendly and helpful. I had a lovely vegan vanilla ice cream and my partner had the salted caramel which he said was really think and delicious. We sat outside and watched the world go by.”

British • “Located on the main road through Stiffkey. Narrow entrance to car park behind pub, which was pretty full each time visited. Traditional pub which has a number of rooms. Good choice of beers. Friendly staff, though short-handed on the second visit. Menus changed regularly. Food good. Best to reserve seating.”
