“Having been a reliable customer in French’s for many years, I came to Wells to see that Plattens had had a make over since I last visited.So I gave it a try one Wednesday evening. I found the screens to be a great way to place your order and the service was very quick (it was a wet Wednesday evening). I ordered 2 x cod and chips and an extra half potion of chips. This served 3 adults but if you had a big appetite you would want your own portion of both.I couldn’t find fault with the food, lovely chips, cooked well and not dry. Fish was juicy and batter not greasy. Stokes sauces in abundance. Staff were friendly.I think I am a convert to Plattens and would certainly visit again.”
