Stopped by for lunch after walking from Blakeney. Too late for menu but had chips and then the cheese platter.

10/10 AMAZING! Can’t recommend this pub enough. The food is more than just posh pub grub. Veggie friendly and plenty of choice for meat eaters. The staff are super friendly and always very attentive. We drove almost 2 hours since finding it at Christmas, well worth

Really tasty food, locally sourced. Interesting menu with good portions. Friendly, efficient service by a wood burner. Perfect for a January lunch! Recommended very warmly.

Fantastic lunch. We just happened to drive past and expected a "pub lunch" but this was so much more. Great flavours and a good selection of interesting food. Excellent team and a lovely atmosphere. Not cheap, but certainly worth it.

A proper pub with utterly delicious food and excellent friendly staff. A refreshing change from the endless so called "gastro" pubs. Interesting and reassuringly small menu. Highly recommend.

Me and my partner just got back from a long weekend stay here at the Stiffkey and it was perfect. The staff were very pleasant and helpful from the moment we turned up. My partner is vegan which I flagged before arriving and the staff and chefs were more than happy to accommodate. The menu is great, it’s not your classic pub grub, it’s better! the food that comes out is incredible and locally sourced. The rooms were ideal for us and it had a beautiful balcony view where you can watch the sunrise. The pub is ace, great vibe and dog friendly. If I’m ever in this part of the world again we’ll definitely be returning.

My husband and I had made plans with my parents to meet at the Red Lion for lunch and a walk, unfortunately when we arrived they were fully booked. My parents were walking from Blakeney with friends and were going to be over an hour and a half, so my husband and I started to leave when a staff member ran out to tell us that a table had just opened up. We asked how big and she told us it was just for two people, so we decided to stay for lunch as we were hungry and they were finishing serving at 2pm and it was already 1:30pm.We had the roast chicken, potatoes, kale and broccoli for two with pigs in blankets on the side for our mains and the white chocolate cremeux and a cheeseboard for dessert. My husband said it was the best roast chicken he had ever had. The service was exceptional considering how busy the pub was. Every member of staff was kind and happy to help us with everything. I cannot wait to come back to this pub again!

Travelled from Yorkshire just for 1 night stay, they wouldn’t serve us food as they were fully booked not even a portion of chips were offered after a long drive. Very disappointing, we just went to bed hungry as it had been such a long day.

What a lovely place. It’s not just the location: the excellent pub food, drink and surroundings leave you feeling rested and at ease. And the staff are especially welcoming.Food & drinks: Really good quality pub food. Such a great stop off after the (highly recommended) walk from Wells.

Good food, good service. Very small menu with only one veg choice. Many dogs in the restaurant, one waiter petted a dog - did he wash his hands afterwards?

We decided not to eat there after looking at the menu and the prices. We felt that they were over inflated for a pub. We have eaten there many times before but wondered if they had rather lost the plot.

Fantastic lamb , cooked to perfection , Downside , only two roast potatoes , one slice of carrot, small amount of cauliflower ,one green leaf and a huge Yorkshire pud. Needed a lot more veg , and way overpriced at £29.95 per head , plus two drinks each £86.00 , came out hungry.
