Tucked away from the hustle of the seafront, sits The Globe Inn, on a quiet coastal green! We arrived a little earlier than our booking so we perched outside with a drink. Staff were efficient, communicative and very friendly! Inside gave a warming atmosphere, and extra measures were made, to make sure that our large party was comfortable around the table. The menu was fantastic, with something for everyone, along with a great list of drinks. The food and drink was exceptional! Not a thing left on anyone's plate! My burger was deliciously juicy. We absolutely will be returning. I imagine it's beautiful to side outside in the Summer. Thanks to all of the staff for making our New Year trip one to remember!

We stayed at the Globe over New Years Eve, staying in the Arch House rooms and having dinner and breakfast in the pub/restaurant. The loft room that we had was lovely and cosy, having everything we needed and the complimentary Bloody Mary gift box was a lovely touch and very tasty! The pub/restaurant is one of my favourites in the area and it didn't disappoint. From a few drinks in the afternoon, to the fantastic 5 course meal in the evening and delicious breakfast the following day, the standard of food and service was second to non. The waiting on and bar staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best they could, and we had a very memorable New Years Eve. We'll definitely be staying here again. Its a fantastic establishment, set in the most beautiful part of the country (well in my opinion :-)Rooms: We stayed in the Arch House rooms which were a short walk away from the pub in a cosy loft room. It was clean, well stocked with tea/coffee etc and it was perfect for our New Years Eve stay. The finish touch of a Bloody Mary Gift set was lovely and tasty too!Nearby activities: Situated in the heart of Wells Next The Sea the town and all its amenities are easily accessible. We took a walk on the beach on New Years Day and it was the perfect way to end our stay. We stayed in the Arch House rooms which were just a short walk from the pub (just a few minutes away).Food & drinks: Fantastic food - the 5 course NYE meal we had was amazing, and the fully stocked breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious, topped with a super full english breakfast with top quality produce.

The hospitality and food at The Globe, as always, was amazing. We had been in for a drink the night before which they acknowledged and asked if we'd had a good evening. Nothing is too much trouble which is the reason why we always visit The Globe when we are in Wells every year.

Arch House rooms are clean and comfortable not as luxurious as the rooms at the main location but that it's reflected in the price. Great location.Delicious breakfast. Will stay again. Thank you.

A perfect location for visiting North Norfolk. There's a nice ambience in the pub area. A good location with level access to the town centre, harbour and pub facilities. A good selection of food both in the breakfast and dinner menu. The metal garden table in the bedroom was a little disappointing. Fresh milk was served in a metal flask (nice touch) but this leaked/dribbled over the table and floor when poured. This was not replaced on the 2nd day. No other milk was available unless we went over to the restaurant. No bottled water was supplied in the room. Overall we had a lovely trip and experience within the pub. Helen (hotel receptionist?) showed an interest in her guests and took time to speak to all she served. We would return and recommend. Just a few tweaks are needed. Thank you.Nearby activities: Holkham Hall, Thursford, Blakely & Cromer.Walkability: Close and level access to the town, pub and restaurant area.

Lovely Hotel/pub located in a charming square . Room was very comfortable, nicely decorated and had great facilities and notably warmer than my house! Bar was good with lovely helpful friendly staff, we had Vegan dinner and Vegan breakfast both of which were really nicely done. Even if you don't stay here but are Vegan the Wellington is worth visiting for. Hotel staff charming and friendly very helpful and I'd reccomend this hotel and resteruant to any Vegan visitors to Wells-next-the-Sea.

Easy to find a space outside, greeted by a helpful receptionist. we loved our room, room 1. so spacious and clean and lovely décor and great view of the square. Really liked the Bramely products and bathroom with very hot water. We grabbed a drink before dinner, great atmosphere in the bar and noticed the Gm being very attentive to the guests. The dinner was lovely, we weren't so keen on some of the main dishes but equally happy picking a burger and a steak we also really enjoyed breakfast the next day and the tall waiter ( sorry cant remember his name) was very nice and had great interaction.

Had a delectable meal with Vegan and GF options. I had the chicken and mashed potatoes and Hubby had risotto with squash. Enjoyed first rate service right next to the fire. Perfect after a day of tromping around the beach on a windy fall day. Thank you!

Mum and dad had stayed at the Globe before and recommended we go for a meal in the snug during our week away in Norfolk. We booked online it was so easy and requested the snug. The service was outstanding from the time we arrived and we settled into the snug for dinner. Harry served us and was really warm and attentive throughout. The food was fabulous and would definitely recommend. We'll be back at the first opportunity. Thank you all

Had a great stay with my sister and Ronnie the dog. Room was really lovely, very clean and home from home. All staff were excellent and made us feel really welcome. Ronnie had a bed and snacks provided. Pub and restaurant were both really nice - would have loved to see a hearty pie on the menu! Breakfast was lovely too. Wells and the surrounding area is a great location for coastal walking.

We visited for a beer one afternoon, and returned the next evening for dinner as a party of six. We ate in the restaurant at the back. The food (fish and chips) was excellent, the service very friendly and obliging, and we enjoyed the Wherry beer. Reasonably good value too. Will definitely go there again.

We visited The Globe today on a short last minute trip to North Norfolk. It is without a doubt the single most dog friendly pub I've ever been in. It almost feels like the entire region is illegal to visit without a dog!We didn't stay too long, but we did stay long enough to enjoy a couple of pints of excellent beer and have a bite to eat. The squid, and the crispy chilli beef small plates were both perfect. My partner had the salmon, made gluten free and as dairy free as possible (tricky with a bisque!) and she said it was delicious. Our dog enjoyed her treats from behind the bar too. We'll be back again some time!
