Staff were very welcoming to my nervous dog at this beautiful pub. I would definitely visit again because the food looks delicious.

Had meal in garden last summer which was good food.r Have recently been heading there for a beer every few weeks. Lovely pint, good relaxing music with fire place.

I visited the Blackhorse yesterday with 2 friends and we had a lovely lunch, just a light sandwich each but it was really good and great portions. The welcome we had from John & Amy was brilliant, such a nice atmosphere in the pub and restaurant and nothing was too much trouble, they were lovely. It's all doggy friendly with treats for the dogs, which was a really nice touch, especially for all the dog walkers around the surrrounding area. The music was great to tap along to and we all had a great day! I will definately be returning again and again and i would highly recommend the Blackhorse for drinks and food ??Thank you!

Lovely visit this afternoon. It was reasonably busy with a nice atmosphere. Staff were great. No complaints with the food either.Good all round. We'll certainly be back.

Lovely friendly pub, cosy, great staff and nice atmosphere, food OK but wasn't hot enough, egg OK chips coldish, ham very cold too cold, husbands steak great but chips cold too, sorry to have to say that at such a lovely friendly

A nice pub, cosy, fires, leather sofas etc gives it a welcoming vibe. Had to mix my ales as first choice was told was finished, second choice made, returned for second beer and told vice versa! Fish and chips weren’t great. (Pictured) nor was the chicken starter. Overall, average food can’t get my patronage…..
