Great food (pre-order). Fab atmosphere. Dogs welcomed - water bowls provided. Friendly welcome. Attentive and pleasant staff. Lovely gardens with seats and tables. Sufficient parking on gravelled area.Not very disabled friendly, unfortunately. Not accessible to wheelchair users. The place has a few different levels and two entrances up a few steps. No disabled toilet facility. Toilets are accessed by another step. OK if you can walk short distances and use several steps.
The Black Horse hosted our Ma’s wake yesterday, we are sporadic visitors to the pub and love the proper pub feel, it’s local, has a good amount of indoor and outdoor space. The price was very reasonable and staff were very attentive. The food for the wake was absolutely perfect (especially the sausage rolls), the guys listened to what we wanted and delivered exactly that ?
