Had cake and tea after visiting the Falls. Cake was absolutely wonderful, a little cherry sponge served warm with pouring cream. Would love to have the recipe, it was so delicious. Lady who baked it was also wonderful to our dog, bringing him a biscuit and talking to us about training (she is a dog trainer as well as a brilliant baker).

Staff are awesome, I am sure the coffee mug had Heavenly written on it and it does feel like that, this lovely cafe is at the entrance to Aysgarth Falls.

Popped in here for a bite to eat as the falls car park is on the same site.I didn’t get any pics but we did enjoy tuna mayo and egg mayo sandwiches.I had a quick look in the gift shop as this is where the toilets are situated. Reasonably priced gift’s. If I’d had more time I would probably have bought a few things.

Great service, not over crowded like the cafes nearer the falls. Great price and lovely food. Great family and dog friendly cafe.

We had lunch after visiting the falls. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and generous. There is no view of the falls from here ... but the view is of lovely countryside and the village church. There is an adjoining gift shop with lots of things to look at.
We went during the cold snap so we arrived in snowy conditions looking to visit the Aysgarth Falls, without 4x4 I couldn't reach the Visitors Centre in a front-wheel drive Hatchback so we parked here instead and walked it back to the Falls past the Commonwealth Cemetary. The Giftshop has books, memorabilia, lanyards. In the absence of the Cafe it also has ice-cream, biscuits and chocolates to sell, I found a lovely local brand called Grandma's Wilds...After a fantastic venture around the Aysgarth Falls we returned to the carpark and had some trouble getting the car out of the carpark and back onto Church Bank the road leading to the A684. After a few failed escape attempts two lovely workers from the GiftShop who must have witnessed this came to the rescue and gave the car a push extracating it enough to get me onto Church Bank, a massive and huge THANK YOU to these amazing people!!!Parking: It was covered in snow when we went so I parked right next to where someone else had but it looked like it could fit at least a hundred assuming all of that space was parking. This is Pay & Display the ticket machine is right by the entrance of the Gift Shop card payments are available.

We had a really tasty breakfast that was reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and we loved the gift shop attached. The negative was that it could do with being a bit cleaner in all honesty but if you can see past that then you will enjoy your visit.

We only had a coffee stop after seeing the falls to warm ourselves up .

We visited at lunchtime on 5th November and the staff member who served us was very pleasant and extremely hard-working. The view through the panoramic windows is lovely and I didn't think the prices were over the top.
