We have stayed at the hotel before and had a fantastic time. So we chose to take some friends for Sunday lunch. I wasn't disappointed. The main restaurant is decorated to a high standard with beautiful paintings and wall coverings. The food was of a very high standard and at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and attentive. Whilst we have visited the falls on many occasions, we have never stayed in Aysgarth.We couldn't have chosen a better spot, particularly for our onward journey, from North Yorkshire to the LakesWe were warmly greeted and escorted to our accommodation. This was outside and adjacent to the hotel, with its own patio area and views across this spectacular valley. Wonderful Christmas stay Lynsey, Alex and staff create a wonderful atmosphere. Fabulous food! Lovely refurbished throughout.Nothing too much trouble.Will definitely stay again.Rooms: Junior suite was beautiful with a lovely en-suite and sitting room.Nearby activities: Lots of different walks, beautiful falls and Bolton Castle.Food & drinks: All Food was amazing from breakfast to Christmas Dinner, during our 3 night stay!
