One of my new favourite places to go for cake and coffee, I recommend the Carrot and Walnut cake ? it was lovely. Great atmosphere and the friendliest staff very kind, helpful and lovely to chat with. Sat down outside with my dog! Finally got a menu for the table service on offer. Two couples sat down after me, got their menus, orders taken and drinks served while I still sat there like a leper! Left in disgust

We ordered 2 vegetarian breakfasts and apart from the poached eggs being very hard we really enjoyed it. The only thing we didn’t realise was that they charge 50p for a portion of brown sauce. I really can’t believe that they charge for this. It just comes across as being very stingy.

Only had a latte, no food. Friend had a blueberry scone. It looked very nice! Place quote full but tables well spread out, staff all friendly and reasonably priced.

High tea was a most delightful experience the whole presentation & attention to detail first class could not fault, service fab, just remember to book 48 hours in advance and you will not be disappointed.

My husband had a cheese scone and it was very nice. I had the calamari which was also quite nice. However 4 rings of calamari and a small pot of mayonnaise with no garnish for £7.95 I thought was very expensive. A few little touches would have made all the difference. I never mind paying for good food but don’t appreciate being ripped off!!

What à disgrace, i was astonished at the quality of food served, eggs benedict both eggs hard, and table next to us git same, breakfast was well over cooked, we didn't want to cause a scene for sure won't be back, we took photos which we try and post
