Visited in December whilst staying with relatives . Busy local pub with a great range of drink offers . Cheap pool table . Plenty of local characters to chat with so nice atmosphere . Will definitely return
Great beer and a friendly service. Food looked good too although we didn't eat this time. Dogs were made welcome (bowl of water was much appreciated!) and the patio at the back was a lovely sun trap.

I tell you what - the dog that was wandering round here absolutely loved a belly scratch. Ear scratches, not too fond but still good. Back scratches - he wouldn't get out of bed for them. Head scratches were apreciated and respected though.
