A beautiful meal today at G&Mo's. Both Gail's Cheese & Onion Pie and the African Bobiti were tasty and delicious. It was warm & cozy inside and service with a smile as always.

I had a chocolate brownie which was delicious. Perfect balance of squidgyness and a generous helping. Will be back to try more of the menu.

Mo saved our NYE, we were searching the streets for somewhere to eat but nowhere was open/serving food. We stumbled across G & Mo’s and we’re so glad we did! Luckily there was a free table and Mo, his wife and Gail were so friendly and accommodating. The food was lovely, we each had three courses and every course was delicious! The restaurant is small and cosy inside and all the tables were socialising together, it was a really nice relaxed atmosphere and very reasonably priced. This really made our evening and I would definitely recommend and will be back if we’re in the area again! Thanks again

Thanks Mo & G for the perfect mocha and cake I stopped for on my motorbike ride today 16.09.23. A must stop off for a brew and a bite to eat. A great couple, all the locals stop here for a brew or a takeaway sandwich or pie which is the best sign that this place is a recommendation if the locals use this lovely place. I wish you Mo and you wife (the boss, ?, I think it was Gina, sorry if I wrong but not v good with names). Well done to the 2 of you as this looks like the heart of the high street to call in to. Thanks for you hospitality and you have my very best wishes for big success as you're doing a great service. Mike (on the motorbike)

Visited here on consecutive mornings this week and had full Eye English breakfast both times. On Holiday from Scarborough and I've ate my fair share of Breakfasts over the years! This is right up there with the best... absolutely perfect....fantastic sausages, well cut bacon, everything else hot and tasty! Black pudding was amazing and proper bread for the toast ( not some cheap loaf slice) not the mention the piping hot tea in a big teapot....10/10

This is the best place in my home town to go for something to eat !! Warm and friendly staff, the owners are really lovely and so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble !! PROPER home cooked food like your parents and grandparents used to make, Gail’s puddings are second to none !! If you ever visit Bentham this has to be a first of many return visits on your to do list.

A cafe in the small town of Bentham. They go out of their way to cater to all diets. For us vegans they had oat milk, vegan mayo, flapjack, jacket potatoes with baked beans or harissa spiced veg. Can also do nut roast if asked.Very nice experience.
Just had a lovely lunch at G&Mo’s. We were a bit late but that wasn’t a problem. We felt very welcome. Lunch was perfect and the cakes were fantastic.

Hidden gem in this delightful village. We were made to feel more than welcome, including our labrador. Lots of quirky decor and smashing food. Do visit when you're next in Bentham.
